Time to prepare for less plant growth and more flowers and bud sets. Less nitrogen is needed during this transition. Additional phosporous and potassium are needed to help support abundant flower and bud sets. It is also a great time to include some micro-nutrients to your fertilizing regiment. Another favorite of mine is the addition of mycorrhizae to the root base. In a mycorrhizal association, the mycorrhizae (fungus) colonizes the host plants' roots, either intracellularly as in arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, or extracellularly as in ectomycorrhizal fungi. They are an important component of soil life and soil chemistry.

Harvest is just around the corner, so stay focused. Soon we will prune for potency. Patience is the key to success.

Lastly, WATER, WATER, WATER!!!

PEACE to the Gardeners all over the world!
