<< back to group Magick in Theory but mostly practice
June 23, 2009

Well, I started this group a few weeks ago and I apologize for not getting around to writing anything sooner, but, my life has been a bit hectic. I'm hoping to get a good thing going here, I've always wanted to bring different schools of Magickal thought together, people from all over the world, just to see what could be done.
I guess, though, I should give you a short introduction. I've been into Magick since I was a teen, though I've always been a "solitary practitioner", I'm a Chaoist because I think Chaos Magick encourages creativity, more so then other "occult traditions". I could also go on & on about how making art = casting a spell and all that, but I'm sure you know that stuff...
So, unfortunately I don't have enough time to go any further, I will be writing more on this subject, in more detail and all that, but I've got to deal with things of a more mundane nature.
Thanks,

Quick intro

I was just heading out the door when I found this group.

I am familiar with different more "nonwestern" magicks . . . and I appreciate Chaos Magick as a reality model in which one can navigate quite well.

I just wanted to share my latest, favorite spellbook/grimorie. Let me know if you understand why Ray Bradbury's Zen in the Art of Writing is a great aid in the manipulation of the fields of perception.

I want to join this group,

I want to join this group, but I have never been interested in Chaos, in fact I have steered clear of it. But I will follow your experiemnts with interest.
It is one thing to know the theory, practice is another thing.
