The Zeitgeist Movement Evolver Group

     Namaste! I'd like to extend an invitation out to everyone to join "The Zeitgeist Movement Group" (http://www.evolver.net/group/zeitgeist_movement). I feel that everyone would be interested in the tenets of the Movement. The Venus Project's goals are one-in-the-same as the wonderful ideas presented here in the Open Source Society.  
    We all know that an open source system benefits us all for the greater good. Patents and corporate collusion have led to the withholding of superior technology making it's way to the public marketplace. Transportion issues could have been solved years ago with electric cars and maglev train systems. Technology in sustainable energy generation is years ahead of what is being used today. 
   At first glance, we as consumers have a seemingly endless number of different products to choose from. On the surface we seem to be in a very open marketplace, but once researched further the facts come to the surface. A small percentage of buisness elite own a handful of corporations that control the marketplace today. New technologies that threaten the status quo are quickly aquired by these groups. These new ideas and technolgies are withheld from the public and thus, the system remains the same - inefficent, costly, and wasteful.    
     What The Venus Project aims to accomplish is a real possibility - it's up to us to make it happen. The Zeitgeist Movement is the activist arm of The Venus Project, and we need your passion and help. You ARE the Movement!
     This March we will be organizing to share ideas and help in the transformation of our society. Look for a local event happening in your city and get connected @ zday2010.org
