I can feel your wings spreading as you ready yourself for flight
feathers decorated with the echoes of time
as the mothers of eternity make love in your hair
the day has come for the undoing of this world
with each tear centuries of fear fall away
eroding the scars upon her skin

to give voice to the divine song that calls from within
