The Hashsassins

This was originally a spit i did with a producer friend of mine on a track he made called The Hashsassins. It opened with a quote from the Ghost In The Shell SAC series about the hash smoking assassins legend, then had my spit, my friends spit - all about, well, i guess thats obvious! - and ended on a quote from Bill Hicks.

Coming in again with a radical revision of the facts
You can’t tax the attacks on these fat stacks
Of pages written and over read
Subliminal minds set to texts whose worth is dead
But aint buried yet
Profligate propaganda perpetuating apocalypse
In the form of innocents serving sentence for sensi passing their lips
We’re locking you down for threatening the social order
We can’t afford your dissolution of the borders cause we’re hoarders
Of stupidity a commodity we systematically cultivate
Stopping you from doing the same with plants that might liberate
Your consciousness and create a peace that scares us
Paranoia voyeur vanguard planting fear that can’t prepare us
For any kind of real changes in this systematic absurdity
Where psycho-actives aren’t researched cause pharmaceutically
We’re better off without investigating the mind
Keep people unwise with weed psychosis myths and the kind
Of unhelpful propaganda that can only pander to the greedy
In a black-market that allows the government to exploit the needy
Protecting their interests by pumping ghettos with crack cocaine
Whilst they maintain their mainframe of power and monetary gain
This is insane but don’t you dare question it
Just shut up and watch the box and keep on buying useless shit
Cramming junk food in your face and voting for these fucks
Who never open debate on psycho-actives just pass the buck
What would you do if you knew that these plants could actually help you?
That tripping is a journey all should go through but I guess we don’t live the world we used to
Where eating certain fungus didn’t make you an outlaw
And peoples’ lives weren’t shattered by getting caught smoking draw
