One fine day

Still a lifetime away

I thought I glimpsed someone

Through the curtains that we call time

A recurring vision

Only fleeting seconds clear

But the beauty was such

That I'll always hold the sight dear

Then ten years

My life ebbing away

I held onto time with a memory

No longer sure it was real

*C Where are you now - in >> my life
*H How long can I wait >> to begin
*O To give life - to my sight
*R When will you be >> in my life
*U I thought I saw you through the curtains
*S That we call time

Time slipping away

Just getting past each day

I'd forgotten how to feel how to be

All the things that we call love

Almost forgotten my vision

And all the reasons why

Certain that I'd come to the end of mine

One fine day

Now just moments away

I thought I glimpsed someone

Walking away from my life

*C Where are you now - in >> my life
*H How long can I wait >> to begin
*O To give life - to my sight
*R When will you be >> in my life
*U I thought I saw you through the curtains
*S That we call time

Then you came back

And the world returned

I thought I'd seen beauty

But never as such as yours

Blinded by a vision coming finally clear

The curtains have parted

We are on the other side

I'm now living each moment

With a love I'll always hold dear

If I cry now , my tears will be of joy

Where are we now - in >> our life
How long can we wait >> to begin
To give light - to our life
When I will be >> in your life
I know I'll see you , love , through the curtains
That we call time
