eyes sparkling
in my dreams
smiling and playing
till morning
ruffles my
slighted countenance

you exist so fondly
in my imaginative
arms--taking me up
spiraling
where there might
be no harm

only bliss

staying clear beyond
my reach
encompassing all
that I fear, breathe & seek
this night,
as any other night

you, the goddess
surrounding frail discord
no recompense
