What exactly will it take for eyes to open wide ?
To finally see the truth behind the lies with which we're plied
To light the fire that melts the chains with which we're pacified
To find the unity and love we're constantly denied

Lacking mental flexibility like a joint thats calcified
Our cerebral sanctuary's been invaded and occupied
Hearts measured in their cash worth, weighed up and quantified
Selling wants to empty hearts see's desires multiplied

The methods of their conquest see's them separate and divide
Not black or white but gold, in this manufactured class apartheid
To recognise dual justice systems, you will never see them tried
Those who break the rules they make by which we must abide

Stopping human development like a dose of thalidomide
Stranded upon dry land, thrown from evolutions tide
Dog eat dog mentalities and greed have been deified
Putting locks and chains on where our humanity resides

Thieves hold seats of power, oaths of service falsified
Their attack dogs roam the land, assuring the Empire's rule applied
Using economic terrorism along with tried and tested genocide
Perpetual war and the profits it raises see's racism glorified
An unholy marriage of government groom and blushing business bride
That golds worth more than human lives is a truth unclassified

Let us see the lies and bullshit dumped and dropped to the roadside
Let us reclaim our human nature to a form more dignified
Let us take the slums they build of hearts and see them gentrified
Before upon these crosses of gold we bear, we're nailed and crucified
