Philoetry - comceptual abstractions in the guise of rhyme. A hybridized mixture of a Haiku, a Limerick, and a Koan.
“Grasping the Flow”
Waters of the wisdom … ‘wet beyond the touch
cosmic plasma … ‘as if hidden … of liquid minds as such
Darkened by the hour … ‘oh waves of wind be still
reflections of the graces … in mythical cisterns of will
Gushing rivers of motion … and cavern ‘d lakes of all calm
scoops in the palm of the goddess … {Aquarius} …‘such free flowing notions of balm
Passing of phase and of season … inside and out of the zone
baptismal mercy of message … blessed by the storms ever known
Capturing vessels of virtue … ‘to know is to lose … is to gain
clouds … ‘as the earth ‘but perspires … droplets of sanction that rain
Swimming in pools of renewal … ‘bathing in beautiful drench
mystical potions of wonder … {inner alchemy} … no longer subject to clutch and to clench
Tears of cold and of warm … ‘as if rhyming to all of the seas
sweating ‘but salts of the toil … ‘just ripples and ripples of tease
Tinkle … ‘and trickle … Niagara … ‘and Nile
potters of the purpose … ‘with vases of all style
Astral streams of the ether … ‘captured in hearts of the muse
known ‘but in dreams of the artist … ‘as if to master the surrender to fuse … {fusion}
Portrayals of profession … ‘released unto freedoms unknown
salvation brews of redemption … ‘in decorative bottles of “shown”
The ebb and the flow … ‘in depths of the quiet
of gossip … ‘and of reflection … contemplative … ‘sometimes to riot
Desert and floods … ‘boxes and bags
parched men that beg ‘eth … ‘the flowing honey from hags
Children of womb … ‘wounded by birth
searching for reasons … ‘in seasons of dearth
Thirsty for lessons … ‘hungry for meaning
bothered by nothing … ‘but the teething and weaning
Left all alone … ‘to figure out fate
tempted by charms … ‘that but sweeten the bait
Sobered by the sorrow … ‘such warnings of the wit
mirages-of-night … ‘saturation … the culmination of the fevers of fit
