We are more than just replaceable
cogs in the machine
Revel in your uniqueness
Gather back your self esteem
No longer let their lies divide
and keep us all apart
Skin, God and money mean nothing
against the contents of a heart
And they will keep us fighting
fostering suspicion in our hearts,
and fear and lack of knowledge
is the place where hatred starts
I dont care to whom you pray,
your skin colour or creed,
but will you stand and lend a hand
to a stranger whose in need ?
Will you stand and suffer blows
to fight for what is right ?
For the way to banish darkness
is to fill your heart with light
Be rid of fear and never let
its presence stay your hand
And let your voice become a roar
that echoes through the land
Always question what your told
for truth will withstand scrutiny
And if the captain lies and cheats the crew
its grounds for mutiny
Change will never come from above
They’re only enforcing the status quo
Its the everyday people, the slumbering masses
who hold the power to overthrow
The political system is full of rot
and corruption is the norm
But the truth is slowly leaking
and i hear the rumblings of a storm
Do we choose to live like locusts
a plague that lives only to consume
Letting the terms of life be dictated
by the tv’s in our living rooms
Suspicious of all thats different
Believing the mass media’s lies
Blissfully ignorant of the truth,
dreamers in brand new four wheel drives
Or do we choose to know the truth
no matter how painful what we find
And do we choose to stand for justice,
respect and dignity for mankind
When we feel injustice overseas
as keenly as if it were our own
Where our differences are respected,
and everybody has a home
Where personal integrity
is worth much more than a bank account
And truth can never be bought and sold
no matter how huge the amount
Where we care for the earth around us
for from it was whence we came
And where democracy and freedom
live on in more than just a name

Good Ideas!
And so it was revealed to me, that god is not a male person at all, verily she is not even a grownup. The goddess of goddesses is a little girl, so small indeed, she does not grow a single hair between her holy and virginal legs...
The poem has a very good content, to which one can only say "yes". From the form it could me more dense, this means, certain words could maybe eliminated, there also could be more line breaks, now it looks like such a monolithic block.
