A tentative tracery of touches
begins to draw my dreams true
the you I've felt, begins to be seen
in the reach of a hand
pinked alabaster warm slim and firm
lithe moves and un-slowed grace
I'd wonder where you went
And find you didn't go
I'd start to ask a question
And find you explaining why
So the dreams continue
I'm drawn through a hurricane
that has no eye
I'd start to light a cigarette
And find your flame already there
I'd reach to fill my glass
And find you've set it full
I'd turn to shout a word to you
And find myself whispering in your ear
I'd begin to stroke your hair
And find your hand atop mine
I'd start to say this feeling aloud
And find the words have disappeared
I'd dream of touching hand to curve
And find you waking there
ahhh it is such a nice dream
