True Goodness

Lost to the realm of illusion
To escape harshness of reality’s intrusion
Of unwanted depression and mental pain
To become fortresses from society gone insane

For eons of time’s passage lost to contrived scheme
Fostering hardship and strife masked by the `Dream’
Armed by words of rational reason of discourse
Yielding evil veiled by goodness of charted course

To disarm this tyranny that prevails
To whit constructive consciousness assails
Demands freedom from oppression for morality to take hold
That in the end, humanity’s true goodness left to unfold
