Did anyone else here attend the "Psychedelic Science in the 21st Century" conference April 15-18, 2010 in San Jose, California (http://www.maps.org/conference/)

It was an amazing and inspiring event; I'd love to share my perceptions with others who may have attended. Some of the highlights for me were Alex & Allyson Grey's "Better Relgion through Science and Art," and Dr. Stan Grof's "Implications of Psychedlic Research for Psychology and Psychiatry."

It's an exciting time, when the research that was abruptly halted in the 1960s can finally bear fruit with government approval.

What An Amazing Conference!

I also had an incredible time at the MAPS conference; I've come home newly inspired to immerse myself in "conscious culture." In addition to the talks that you mentioned, I also really enjoyed Dr. Nichols's lecture, as well as Diana Reed Slattery's talk on xenolinguistics and the psychedelic origin of language. Did you attend Dr. Grof's post-conference workshop?

I'd love to continue sharing highlights, and I'd also be curious to hear about what you're now doing to follow up on everything that you learned at the conference (this goes for anyone else here who attended). Just like Neal Goldsmith talked about in his lecture, integration is always the hardest part of any transformative experience. So we've all been inspired; what comes next?

MAPS Conference Audio on Gnostic Media Podcast

Jan Irvin posted some audio from the opening of the conference and apparently part two is on it's way soon. The first part is about 1 1/2 hrs. and seems to be a recording of the opening talks introducing the conference...

I wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't believed it.
