the truth about life and death and the "afterlife" and how it all ties itself together

think about a painter to be like god, not the religious view of "god" but god as the creator or the all. His paint, or medium is our minds, and the works of art he creates is the world we see around us.
Thus there is the mind- body problem, in which you must decide whether the mind and body are two entities existing in two dimensions, the physical of your body and the beyond physical of the mind. you can seperate the mind from the body in a few ways; death, deep meditation or a chemical reaction, using dmt.
DMT(di-methyl triptamine), or the spirit molecule, is excreted from the pinneal gland in the center of your brain. All living things contain dmt within them, as well dmt is what aids in dreaming or the dreamstate. This is interesting because several indiginous tribes that use dmt as a way to meet gods, or to derive solutions through ceremony, also use dream interpretation to figure out answers to the same types of problems.
now that anyone who reads this will at least slightly begin understand where im going with this we are moving on to my main point of writting this.
i myself have not actually done dmt and as of now i have no plans to. i feel that for some it is a good choice and others dont need it and in some cases people lose thier minds in it and the lessons it teaches you. There are reasons i choose to NOT partake in dmt based hallucinations. Firstly i cannot decide whether dmt is doing simply that, making you hallucinate and in lamens terms scrambling your mind like an eggbeater, or is it the key to truely disembodieing the mind from the body and truely allowing you to travel to a whole new dimension beyond our 3d minds and expanding in infinite dimensions. to a world based purely on the metaphysical in which our minds or conciousnesses exist in the time when they are not occupieing a living host.
My second reason based off what i believe to be the probable answer to my question above. I choose to believe that dmt does seperate the mind from the body and i do believe that it is a vessel in which we can use to meet entities of life before us and after us in infinite directions. my problem with this is such that; when you die a large or at least more than a breakthrough dose of dmt is excreted by the pinneal gland into your brain. So in the last instance of life carrying into death you are faced with something that is either a drug induced hallucination that cognatively feels like centuries or possibly an infinite amount of time in which you think that all your questions are answered and your "shown the light" or your mind again truely seperates and goes to hyperspace, the alternate dimension where you go during a dmt expirience.
Basicly if you are faced with this expirience in the instance of death then you can justifiably derive that, hyperspace is most likely more commonly known as heaven. therefore you may also derive that life is the price one must pay for such an expierience. I choose to not do dmt because i feel that i am not ready to pay the price so i shouldn't recieve the prize. i also fear that in metaphore, say you are to recieve a gift youve wanted for a very long time for christmas of 2011, but you are given a chance to play with it for a half an hour on christmas of 2010. I feel that once you've played with it, your only going to want more, because you can never get enough of infinity.
Regardless of the philosophies that i choose to believe truth can be found through enlightenment, but an earthly truth can be developed from science. With this in mind, pardon the pun, as i conclude this topic i will circle back to the idea that heaven is nothing more than an instant that feels like lifetimes. In my mind no one has anything to worry about based on karma and the things we do in everyday life. No matter what you do through life, when you die, you recieve a shot of di-methyl triptamine that courses through your brain that transends your conciousness, dissolves the ego and breaks you free.

Is this proven
Is this proven scientifically that DMT is released once we die? If so, then I would have to agree with you 100%
nope
Strassman's speculations, interesting as they may be, aren't exactly grounded in science, he's much more of a romantic. It's not proven not to be true, but it's far from being proved to be true, and even farther proved form being relevant, and any tying of the putative release of DMT at death to a higher spiritual reality is even more speculative. This sort of speculation being held out as truth and doctrine does the psychedelic community a grave disservice.
yes it is, if ur curious
yes it is, if ur curious theres like a great hour long vid on youtube called "the spirit molecule" it goes into depth about what it is and what it does and how it can be used

Having read DMT: The Spirit Molecule, I'd say Straussman's "speculations" are largely based not so much on romantics as the acknowledgement of the thing that all the signs are pointing to. Sure maybe he has some sort of a bias towards the spectacular but this research is his life. I'd say he probably knows more about it than any of us. Connecting spiritual experience, UFO abductions, Near Death experience, birth, death, dreams, and basically the fabric of the universe -is a big deal. You run into the issue of trying to explain the illogical, irrational, the "impossible" -with a scientific method. I think Straussman is asking the right questions, and has avoided definite answers to those questions.
proof...well, evidence
acording to sissyphus were jus rolling a rock up hill day in and day out. while were here theres nothing better to do than live because wether you want to be or not, your still going to be here. If your pissy about your just going to make yourself more miserable so you might as well do it (live) to the fullest, but really its just death and taxes, death and motherfucking taxes my friend. we come, we live, we die, life goes on, we may "matter" in life but thats only in a human sense or concept. bears in the woodsdont give a fuck what were up to in the economy, who killed who, who won the sports game last week. theres something more after this life but what is live, what is YOUR purpose. its impossible to place a purpose of the self. with a chair it has no self it has no self proclaimed purpose, it has 4 legs a seat, maybe a cushion, and a back, and you sit in it. thatis the chairs being and its purpose. The human mind wants purpose but cant seem to find it so we look for religion and we look for understanding, but again its all jus a bunch of jumbled absurd bull shit that hits all of us in different ways like ripples ina pond. wwe areall apart of the water yet carrying out existence in our own ways performing our own tasks, likeing the things we chose and dislike others. the only purpose i can see that humans may have is to simply be the creator of purpose. god is made in light of man not the other way around. the reason his image and charecteristics are varied from everysigle person to person, because god is a personal creation, more or less a perfection of the self. nothing more nothing less, simply what we aspire to be, the choice that we strayed away from. when you reach enlightenment, you havent met god or become one with god, you've become one with your self and you may live live in pharmony with the world as though you were back in the "garden of eden." God esentially is our concience, we defied our inner voice that says good and bad when we took the fruit from the tree not god. since that first act of selfish deyment of the greater good, the greater good has been lost in a whirlwind of profits(money) and supremacy over others. we had our chance to be born into harmony and now it is up to the individual to want to find this truth and livethis life. one must find his own way back to this place of enlightenment and he must understand how deeply personal his enlightenment is because most are sheep but some are shepards.
DMT and Strassman
After recently attending a Q & A with Strassman and Mitch Schultz, producer of the movie, "DMT: The Spirit Molecule," I was able to come to a more educated stand point on DMT. Although in the movie, Joe Rogan claims that DMT is produced in the Pinneal gland, Rick explains that this is just a theory, not fact. He made a clear point that there has been little study on injecting/smoking the molecule itself and what he does know are testimonies from patients and physical effects he was able to monitor while giving the tests. An audience member explained a situation where he was stuck in the same DMT trip for the last 15-20 experiences. Rick's response was, stop using DMT look at your life and fix the wall in it.
DMT can be an amazing catalyst to wipe one's slate clean, however, it needs to be used with the right intention and understanding.
As far as truth being found in enlightenment, I believe truth IS enlightenment; and that their are many roads to enlightenment. If DMT is your road, AWESOME, some people like to climb up the face of the mountain!
