What if there was a major psychedelic attack

Disclaimer: The following post technically discusses what would amount to a large-scale terrorist attack on the public. I do not in any way condone the outlined actions and seriously only pose them as a fun moral dilemma problem to chew on and discuss for philosophical reasons. I don't want to get nabbed by homeland security for this shit so don't take it seriously lol.
Some friends and I found ourselves stoned (as we often are) and rambling about whatever (as we often do). An interesting topic came up that for some reason is always a really fun interesting topic to get different peoples' reactions on.
We were talking psychedelics. We were talking about the government experimenting in weaponizing LSD. "At what point did the government realize that a substance with the potential to contribute to the enlightenment of an individual is counterproductive to their cause, lol"
We talked about people who spread fear and misunderstanding about psychedelics and drugs in general. "If they tried it just once! If we could slip it into their soup or something and make them experience it...er weaponize it! No harm no foul, right?! Let 'em trip balls for a few hours....travel to the edge of space and time or something...then ask what their opinion is on psychedelics."
The conversation rattled on and on until we devised this hypothetical "LSD Bomb" that would be set off. Target like a hundred people. I hypothesized it would hit the headlines HARD the next day for sure..."Several hundred people subject to acid attack, yada yada yada". Maybe they interview some of the people and put them on TV. Statistically speaking, a lot of them would have the most epic experience of their lifetimes...seek out similar experiences...promote these experiences... "I had no idea what was in store for me that day. At first I was angry...but this experience has been amazing and the people should know the truth about this shit."
What do you think about this? The moral implications? If the mainstream were made to focus on it for just a short time, would this new information be a catalyst that boosts the expansion of minds in this country? Or would it be painted by the media as a harmful attack and set back substance legalization for decades? Would it be "wrong" to go about taking such a drastic action?
The discussions among my IRL friends have already been really delicious...especially since we have varying opinions on right/wrong, oneness, conscious creation, dream reality...etc. It has been fun to see how this scenario bounces off of different flavors of new age philosophy

As much as LSD can bring people closer to understanding themselves and their relation to a potential divine, it is the context of the experience that sets its tone ("set, setting and drug"). Being all of a sudden on LSD without any understanding of why or what was happening to you would be an intense experience that most would embrace as fear. This would be counter productive to establishing a societal value of respect towards LSD and the psychedelic experience. Not too mention the "moral" (i use this work loosely here) implications of subjecting an individual to a chemical agent that alters their mind dramatically without their permission.
Though I have often pondered what the effect would be on the masses if everyone at once had a mystical experience, the use of LSD to induce that, I believe, would be catastrophic. And probably not in a good way.

DMT bomb in a festering riot? Yeah we joke about it all the time. When I studied martial arts way back when I trained with a guy that use to jokingly say during Friday night inebriated sparing, "Don't worry, I won't kill any of ya, until I can kill all of ya." Right before he invited everyone in the room to attack him at once. Well if we extrapolate on the same principle. It could be said that you would have to effect everyone equally or face retribution...
If one were to execute such a plan on anything short of the global scale, we know what the media will do. Look at 911... The media is so compartmentalized and use playing a role being told what to report. When faced with an active crisis, flounder in front of the camera. You just can't fake stupid.
Say a psychedelic event on the same scale of 911? I imagine social fallout to be just like it really. Sure it could be a catalyst for some, but just like 911. Only those that are paying attention and by that I mean observing as opposed to being observed. The only upside is chance that if this were to occur stands a chance at it results in absolutely no casualties either directly or indirectly. In which case those exposed to the trauma live to tell all as opposed to being sacrificed. But there will still be media spin, finger pointing, and retribution so that the state can justify it's existence.
I don't really get into right and wrong because I don't really know what that means anymore. I'm not here to judge, just observe and act.

That is an absolutely stupid idea. How can you possibly think something like that would be ok? The use of psychedelics is extremely serious. They are not something you allow someone to take without their knowledge and consent. Does the concept/idea/word SACRED mean anything to you?. Set and setting you little sh*t. Well, a DMT bomb may be coming, whether we deem it right or wrong. And if this information is true (and I'm not sure about that), it wouldn't just be dropped by the gov onto a festering riot--unless you consider the whole world a festering riot and the sun as the gov. And that's not an unthinkable prospect.
Our sun is building up to it's next sunspot peak in 2012, after several years of little or no action. The solar flares and coronal mass ejections, which are now increasing, contain what scientists call gamma rays--the highest frequency energy waves they are aware of. This is the cause of the acceleration of energy/change that we are now feeling. And some say that gamma rays trigger our pineal glands to make and secrete natural DMT. So maybe everyone on the planet is going to have a little DMT trip in the next couple of years. It's the apocolypse--the lifting of the veil and revelation of all that has been hidden. Is there anything that does that better than DMT?
Some people will feak out. Some people will get enlightened. Everything will change. A little tripping experience may be a handy thing to have. I don't know if this wil really happen, but personally I'm rooting for it.

and nothing lifts the veil more than tryptamine relatives - you see the flowing possibilities behind the solid form that you normally take to be solid and fixed. You see the consciousness and intelligence behind all of creation. That is the ultimate revelation in my opinion - that all is mind, that it's one giant thought experiment, and we are living in our own imagination, recovering from a bout of amnesia about our true potential and celestial origins. Anyone read Philip K. Dick's "A Maze of Death"? It's a beautiful and witty scifi recreation of the amnesiac situation we find ourselves entangled in.

im sure, before it was over, our trusty CIA goons will have murdered 65 people, arrested whoever they're currently investigating, framing a massive media blitz AGAINST the use of these agents, and flooding the media interviews with experts spewing the establishment viewpoint will never end. as you say, "just like 911"....
i am reminded of terence mckenna who said, it's not about getting everyone to use psychedelics, it's about those who use them, doing MORE.
and what the mushroom told mckenna when he asked, 'cant this be used for harm?'... the mushroom replied, 'only the good can come near this'... the maladjusted aggressives among us would only snap out in the wrong direction in such an experience.
more than once, mckenna also reminds us that for a society to benefit from these agents, there really only needs be a small group of people using these inspirational agents, in a culturally sanctioned way, to bring the entire village to new understandings about the world we live in.
all that said, it would make a funny movie!
and an instrument of instruction and education, about the pros and cons, the HOW TO and how NOT to employ consciousness altering sacrements.
gassing the city with psychedelics would include officers of the law being dosed, and when they flip out, "only the good can come near this"...do you wanna be anywhere near THAT?
