My daughter's kindergarten class has an activity where they give "snaps" to each other for a job well done...I want to know what teacher/teaching you'd give snaps to right now. Have you recently been inspired? Found a new teacher? Or are continuing a love affair with a long time teacher? Let's sing their praise and shine light on their dedication to healing and evolution.

For me, I'm loving Mark Kinder of Anhad Yoga in Seattle. (www.anhadyoga.com)
Mark is the founding teacher of Anhad Yoga which opened in Fremont earlier this year. After experiencing a handful of studios in Seattle, I finally feel like I've found my home. Mark teaches the way I hope I do, with lightness, humor, spiritual insight, inspiration, and a beautifully balanced blend of asanas and pranayama. Mark is obviously well versed in the history and philosophy of yoga and he eagerly shares his knowledge with the class. I've practiced yoga for over ten years, and have been a teacher for seven, and not since my first teachers have I felt this much admiration for the depth of a teacher's wisdom and compassion. Snaps for Mark!

favorite teacher...

I have two DVDs of Seane Corn demonstrating "flow" or vinyasa yoga, which greatly resembles ahtanga... she has an eloquent, yet succint way of speaking about yoga and the spiritual and physical aspects.
