Anti-waste products

In over a year since going zero-waste, some new products have come on the market. I've found completely recyclable razors and now reusable hemp produce bags in my local coop. My local recycling depot says they'll now take my toothbrush handles if I cut the heads off, but I've already switched to the change just the brush types anyway, and I still don't know what to do with the heads.
Anyone else found some new items on market that help cut their waste? I'm looking for things that replace formally disposable items. Some evolved product and packaging that you buy only once and/or is 100% recyclable.

Compostable every day products
Hi,
I'm in Australia and my family (2 adults, 2 kids and a cat) are about to start a month waste-free challenge for a local magazine.
I've been doing some research and have found some everyday products that are compostable:
*The environmental toothbrush: http://www.environmentaltoothbrush.com.au/ - made from bamboo
*Ecostore dishwash brush: http://www.rubbishfree.co.nz/ecostore-dishwash-brush-p-30.html
*Bamboo bags to store bread and vegies in, rather than plastic: http://www.bamboo-bag.com/
*Biodegradeable pens: http://www.dba-co.com/pen
Let me know if you're after anything specific and I'll see if I can track it down. In the meantime, you may like to look at the wesbite of the NZ couple who went rubbish-free for a year, as they have an A-Z list of substitutes: http://www.rubbishfree.co.nz/information.php/info_id/92
