People are slowly coming round to zero-waste, and both community and individual initiatives are building, but the concept is still pioneering. I get this all the time. What do you mean zero-waste? What do you do with your garbage?
By going zero-waste, I am actually saying there is no such thing. Let me pause while you pick your jaw from the floor.

Bane of my existence, It's the hardest to find a recycler for soft plastic and of course it's the defacto packaging material for almost everything.

In over a year since going zero-waste, some new products have come on the market. I've found completely recyclable razors and now reusable hemp produce bags in my local coop. My local recycling depot says they'll now take my toothbrush handles if I cut the heads off, but I've already switched to the change just the brush types anyway, and I still don't know what to do with the heads.
