Take off those 'rosy glasses'

How do we get the public to focus? To break away from 'bread and circuses' ?

To take off those 'rosy glasses'.

I recommend following more from Chris Hedges. An in depth guy with good rationality and a growing appreciation among progressive thinkers who dare to question oligarchic gimmicks.

Thanks

Thank you Melanie D for bringing this article to Evolver. Chris Hedges, what a brilliant writer and how spot on he is in his vision. Although I am no fan of so-called progressives as they have been bastardized by the mind control media i.e. Hillary 'I am a progressive', I have to admit I am blown away by his precise conclusions and his dire and haunting warnings of the coming transition. Boy, I sure hope there is some truth to this consciousness overhaul Daniel Pinchbeck envisions for humanity. If not, we are in for a hard ride. I have a farm in Tennessee and have been preparing in my own plodding way but his Canadian suggestion is intriguing to me. For some reason I have always been attracted to Canada and the cold. Strange huh? Looked at your profile and you seem to be what I would call a 'sensitive soul'. I just love Evolver and it's community of thinkers and seekers. Thanks again. Alex

this is terrifying

because these very ideas and images are things that i have been thinking about and imagining...with great horror, because it is TRUE. T. R. U. E. And the truth is the most scary and shocking thing of all sometimes, especially in instances such as the Holocaust. I want to leave this country for that reason, and Canada seems to be calling my name for many reasons....A number one being...REASON! Canadians seem to have more of it! At least I hope and pray they do...Man oh man, this article has sent an incredible and sustaining chill down my spine (literally!). Guys, this makes complete sense.
