Scotia Scott 1 year ago While British Mining company 'Vedanta Resources' pushes ahead to mine aluminum ore from Niyamgiri, the Sacred Mountain of the Dongria Kondh tribal peoples of India, resistance from the Tribe and from around the World is building. Shareholders such as the Norwegian Government and the Church of England have dropped their shares, citing a history of human and environmental abuses by the company, and International action is now focusing on pulling out bank investments .

I posted the Mine video at Survival Intl a couple or three months ago. I would hope that we are slowly getting to the point in the world that such effrontery by corporations will not be tolerated.
