Earth Honey Haven is looking for a new housemate/co-creator/social innovator/co-healer. We are an intentional community in the Oakland hills, Montclair area. We have an epically beautiful home that hosts events, workshops, and healings, and we are looking for a female housemate who is interested in actively participating in the house's projects. About EHH:

Earth Honey Haven is a nexus for consciousness evolution, global healing and beauty, founded by an all female collective. We are a temple space, think tank, and community space in the Oakland Hills. We hold space for personal healing, creative play, spiritual expansion, and social innovation directed towards creating grassroots cultural evolution rooted in joyful, efficient collaboration. We co-create, support, and connect projects that weave these values into the surrounding Bay Area community.

The Haven presents myriad offerings to the surrounding community on a sliding scale/gift economy basis, including: social system and collaboration network design, interfaith open-source rituals, shamanic art gatherings, Hive Mind think tank brain jams, sustainability & collaboration consulting, gift circles, yoga, meditation, and movement workshops, sound healing ceremonies and kirtans, moon circles, spa days, and Earth Honey food and tea products.

The Earth Honey temple space has an open floor design with high ceilings and exposed beams, complete with a fireplace, deck, and epic view of SF, the bridges, and the Bay. We hold this container with love, with the intent that it benefit the community of visionary healers, artists, inventors, technologists, community connectors, permaculturists, etc, who are teaching and helping co-create the new paradigm of society.

One of the organizations housed at the Haven is Evolver, which is working to synergize Bay Area groups to encourage the convergence of permaculture, sustainable social structures, alternative economies, technology, visionary art, and shamanism.

What we are looking for in a housemate:

- someone who has done a lot of personal healing work and is ready to focus some energy outward toward inspiring and working with community
- we want to remain an all-female household
- someone who is financially stable, has a regular source of income, and can afford their rent plus $765 security deposit
- someone who is emotionally stable and easy to create with
- someone who is positive, inspired, creative, motivated, mindful, accountable, service-minded, fun-loving, spiritually/socially "awake" or "awakening", cheerful, clean, grounded, ideally someone holding a significant amount Earth energy (astrologically or otherwise).
- someone interested in hosting/facilitating workshops, events, and/or rituals at the Haven
- someone who is willing to use email to communicate about EHH operational items, scheduling,etc, and checks email regularly
- BONUS: someone who is interested in helping with maintaining our online communications systems for EHH -- email list, facebook event invites, newsletter, replying to people who email the group inquiring about doing workshops, etc. Currently just two of us are doing most of this work and we'd like to distribute it more.
- someone who values and practices conscious communication, and is familiar with or willing to become familiar with NVC and work towards authentic, empathetic, compassionate communication with the group. there are house meetings twice a month.
- willing and able to help with "sevas" (ie chores) reliably and regularly
- someone flexible with levels of noise and willing to respond to requests
- someone who is aware of energy, able to set and maintain healthy energetic boundaries with housemates

About the room:

The room available is a large long rectangular room (dimensions to be posted...). It's long enough that you could set up a living space and a studio space in it. Its windows look out onto redwoods and out over the Bay Bridge and San Francisco. There is a deck on the same floor as the room, via the common space on that floor. The room doesn't get a ton of natural light, it's mostly nestled in the trees, but it gets some. The main floor's temple space and deck get tons of natural light, and we are right next to Huckleberry Park and a mile from Redwood Regional Park. The two other roommates on the same floor are beginning a hybrid healing practice together, and have their rooms decorated as beautiful transformation spaces to inspire and heal. The common space might sometimes be used as an extension of that for group gatherings if you're open to it. We would love to find a housemate who is also practicing as a healer, and have that whole floor be synched up on that, but are open to people doing other kinds of work as well. Shared bathroom with two other roommates, unless you would prefer using the main floor bathroom.

The whole house consists of a main floor with temple space, craft room, huge kitchen and epic bathroom and two decks... one bedroom on the top floor, the floor the open room is on has three bedrooms total, a common space, laundry room/chocolate alchemy lab, deck, and bathroom. There's an in-law unit on the lower level that a 5th member of EHH lives in. We have a beautiful front garden too. The landlady designed and built the house herself with her family. It's epic in every way.

Sometimes (very occasionally) the kitchen and upper floor are inaccessible if a private workshop is going on.

Heads up:

We have intentionally created a healing portal with this space, and living here can be very intense at times with the high-energy projects we're all working on. It's an amazing amazing amazing opportunity to live here, the community around the house is incredibly intelligent, beautiful healers and visionaries, and the space itself is beyond ridiculously beautiful. We're looking for someone who really wants to commit to helping make the amazingness continue and grow and flourish.
