It is amazing how easy it is to stop paying attention. At first I was astonished by the level of outrage being expressed in the mainstream press about the financial bailout. As I considered it, I realized that the journalists are correct. Under Obama's governance, America has now turned a corner toward the out-and-out takeover of the state by an elite class of financial insiders. This would have to be considered a complete merger of state and corporate power.
I learned in Tiabbi's piece that, beyond the bailout money, the Federal Reserve has secretly poured $3 trillion into the banking system, with no public oversight whatsoever. The entire system is being artificially maintained at this point, and the financial elite have decided to credit endless amounts of money to themselves through their institutions, rather than accept blame and a severe reduction of their privilege. They are going to ride it all of the way down.
If the common people are not too stupefied to understand what is happening, there should be civil unrest in the next few years. I anticipate waves of revolutions breaking out in many countries.
It is hard to determine if all of this was prearranged or if it was just the inevitable tendency of the system as it developed over the last decades. It doesn't make that much difference, perhaps. I also tend to think that there is extraterrestrial involvement. The movie-script genius of Obama's sudden rise suggests the master-chess-playing acumen of a nonhuman intelligence, able to calculate many years - perhaps even centuries, or far longer - in advance.
It seems ever more likely that the manifest universe truly is an infinite battleground between shamans and sorcerers. The sorcerers seem to have a good grip on this particular planet. however the insight I have gleaned from my research is that the two polar occult currents - Horus and Set, Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca - weave together as we approach the end of the cycle. This was told to me by a high priest of the Temple of Set, who sent me a transmission he had received, similar to mine, during one of their ceremonies, but from Tezcatlipoca, claiming that Tezcatlipoca would return in the year 2011.

Civil Unrest

The unrest is starting already. There are major government protests erupting around the world. People I talk, surprising people, are beginning to do more than grumble about the continued 'bailouts' of the elite and their institutions when so little is going to the people hurting the most. With credit so hard to get now, the low wages we are paid are beginning to become unacceptable to most people.
Interestingly, it is all remarkably similar to the rise of fascism in the early 1900's, during the lead-up to WWII.
Big things are most definitely afoot...we must keep our eyes peeled for opportunity.

i am thinking of literally unsavory extraterrestrial beings, not allegorical or metaphorical ones. I am tilting closer to the Michael Tsarion worldview, or that of The Voyagers:

These beings may have an agenda that involves genetic harvesting, or using the energy of the human fear body to tear holes in other dimensions, or other scientific experiments, or perhaps it is a kind of sport for them, or all of the above. There is also John Lash's view that the Archons simply enjoy causing chaos and disaster. Who knows???
Something is going on that is wider and deeper than we know, far beyond the interpretive grids we tend to use.

integration

I suppose the question is whether or not these characters are simply a hostile species that exists independently of us and is simply looking at us as a resource, or if they are connected to us in some way, and the current process is one of integration - integration of opposites as in Solis et Lunae. The latter is something you have presented in your work and I have found a lot of truth in it.
I would say that I have completely rejected the idea of this being an extra-planetary phenomenon. I do think it is psychic, while being physical as well. The reproductive, genetic aspect goes back to fairy encounters, and I agree with Graham Hancock and others that these are the precursor to modern alien encounters. This is where the idea of the changeling comes from, where a child would be replaced by a strange child that was a fairy-human breed.
I suspect that the apparent desire to interbreed on the part of these "others" is some kind of literal manifestation of this integration idea. Perhaps the more the psychic integration progresses, the more the forced, physical integration will subside, and perhaps that has already started. Do people still get abducted by aliens?
It occurred to me that the first widely publicized abduction experience, of Betty and Barney Hill, could have had intentional symbolic value. They were a mixed-race couple at a time when that was a rare thing. They were pioneers in the process of integration of black and white, making them less alien to each other.
The more overtly malevolent aspects of the Other such as reptiles/archons involved in governmental manipulation and so on, I feel must be a part of this same process. The very idea that they are using our fear as energy I think puts this in the psychic arena.
I recently read "The Third Man Factor" which documents the very consistently reported phenomenon where "people at the very edge of death, often adventurers or explorers, experience a sense of an incorporeal being beside them who encourages them to make one final effort to survive." This being often gives them real, valid, information, that they could not have known on their own, and in some cases manifests in a fully physical form, for example, steering a ship to safety. In some of these cases, the person felt themselves temporarily split off into two people, where one was panicked and stuck, and the other was calm, clear-headed, and able to get the person through the crisis. I feel that this could give us a clue as to the nature of the integration going on.

Your heart will guide you through them away from "fear and helplessness" scenarios. I'm not sure if you have fear or helpless feelings attached to what you are saying above....perhaps it's just presentation of the many views that can be held....but I also don't feel like you are "into it"

Seems the choice is the usual one these days. Side with the concrete, with money and finance and old ways, obese ways, obsolete operating systems.
Or side with green things, plants, gifts, exchange, communication, community, cooperation.
The financial transition, as nasty & grotesque as it is, is the picture of the fast rotting of old ways.
Shamans and sorcerers?
Brujos are really, simply, incomplete shamans.
Shamans have a more complete picture of things and see how such things that we obsess about, are often so incredibly trivial.
My take (over): is that it's a breakdown of a system, a species, a perspective and what grows in its place is not only some vague, interconnected notion of "extra terrestrials" - but an unleashing of the true nature of the spirit world upon this planet.

Whether the current financial crisis was prearranged or inevitable is something I have attempted to answer by delving back to the emergence of the bank of England, the east India Company, Mackay’s Extraordinary Delusions, Icelandic mythology, multifarious tangents, and sometimes wild goose chases. It feels true that sorcerers as opposed to shaman appear in control, but the force of life past, present and future is probably fuller of shaman.
If one begins to look at how the current system of trade began in the 1700’s, essentially the theft of resources and indigenous traditions, and the enslavement of peoples, it’s hard to know if we are moving further away from this process or nearer to a pre-planned conclusion.
I searched for some years for an answer to the extraterrestrial question, and finally one night I had a lucid dream, in which a UFO appeared in front of me. I made what I believed to be an agreement with the occupant to show me their face. They made an elaborate manoeuvre in front of me. As I looked inside expectantly I saw the face of a clown. Thereafter I have only ever experienced the masked trickster.
I have no limits on what I’m prepared to believe, and actually the thing that excites me right now is the fact that my whole world truths are open to total obliteration. But I fail to believe in benevolent leaders, and I have found myself part of an integration process which at times has left me in desperate need of direction and explanation.
I feel I need to pay attention to the interpretive grid because the remit is constantly windening and I want to keep hold of the narrative.

I don't see anything in this scenario that suggests aliens are secretly behind it. I read both articles and the rolling stone story paints a pretty bleak picture of a bunch of financial elite attempting to patch the leaking ship that is the world economy with monopoly money all the while not realizing that they are sinking into a sea of blood.
What troubles me on the alien take is that it has a tendency to instill fear and make people feel the situations are completely out of their control, but really the whole financial system is an illusion of control and this crisis is revealing that ever more.
I think there is an opportunity here for pivotal change.
I've heard that the wizard of Oz was actually a reference to Wall Street and really the rich have been screwing over people and spreading lies to maintain power ever since Civilization was created, and perhaps this was incited by extra-terrestrials. I think we all need to tap into our ability to realize our connection to the galactic drama and take the actions that are needed to evolve and survive the transformation.

Thank you for bravely asserting the presence of extraterrestrial influence, a factor which will no doubt be shied away from in the mainstream media even as it becomes more obvious. I feel, as per usual with me, much more inclined to assert a spirit-world version of the extraterrestrial - in this case that an Ahrimanic impulse is afoot rather than aliens.
According to anthroposophy, we will soon enter a time where Ahriman - the heavy spiritual being of materialism - like Jesus Christ and Lucifer before Him, will incarnate in a human form (the form will already be alive and mature - he does not have to be born into a body like a new Dalai Lama). He will at first be perceived as a saint - He will have united the world in relative peace. He will also be a writer, thinker, and great speaker. Steiner also cautioned: as our psychic gifts emerge, he will encourage us to understand them as merely physical properties of our brains, so that we eventually forget and ignore our spiritual world.
While I wouldn't go so far as to state outright that Ahriman is incarnating in Obama (or anyone I know of for that matter), I would say that the seeds of radical materialism are all around us, and the time is now for such an incarnation to arrive. The incarnation of Ahriman, Steiner says, is inevitable. How we greet this incarnation is up to us.
As money - the ultimate reification through which an idea is perceived as something with material substance - becomes even more unevenly distributed, Ahriman is at once assisted and undone. Money is a powerful and prolific tool by which to entrance us and weigh us down in material desires and thinking, and its scarcity temporarily leaves us in a state of desperate materialistic despair. But its absence also cultivates within us a will to perceive new possibilities and move toward a truly spiritual way of life in which spirit touches everything we do and we understand it.
I wonder if the current crisis with money will in fact result in our psychic faculties being ignited after casting off such a long-held notion that money is substance. When they are ignited, we will encounter Ahriman, telling us that the faculties are material - that they emanate from brain chemistry somehow, etc. Our challenge after money will be spiritualizing our new psychic lives and not letting them become heavy with materialism.

Like getting a driver's license, you open yourself up to new ways to be killed that were inconceivable as experiences before you earned the new, wonderful thing. As money collapses into a fine point in the hands of the few, we will resist and begin to feel the spiritual presence within us more and more. Then we will graduate into a new danger, even as we free ourselves from this old one.

I've thought for a while that what "they" do is directed by non-human forces, especially after reading some David Icke and researching the hidden significance of dates of events, like the start of wars/announcements. Also reading about nasa's rituals in Hoagland's "Deep Mission" made me think twice about saying that things happen because of just natural human greed.
However I can still rest in the idea that all is a manifestation of God, and ultimately perfect.
It's quite interesting to think about Obama as the antichrist. He sure has people thinking that he's the one that's going to save them, and he's a pretty damn smooth talker.
I think we'll have a while more of Obama mania, until about late July, plateau, and then finally the fireworks really kick of in early november with the death of that dollar that just won't die. It really starts affecting people when essential parts of the system like healthcare, welfare, S.S., (anything that the gov. has a finger in) starts to unravel.
shadow government; extraterrestrial technology program

Recently I have run into a few quite credible-seeming people who claim to have worked with the shadow government in developing or reverse-engineering extra-terrestrial technologies. This subject is also discussed in depth by Tsarion, Hoagland, John Lear, Steven Greer, etc. The idea is that there are factions of the shadow government who have developed technologies like free energy generators, anti-gravity spaceships, time travel devices, etc, that are far beyond anything known about to the public. According to these sources, a huge amount of money and resources has been funnelled into these programs - this would explain the black box into which trillions of dollars of defense money seems to have evaporated, considering that the soldiers in Iraq can't even get adequate supplies or bulletproof vests.
Now as I have discussed elsewhere, it seems likely that technology is integrally related to the level of consciousness. These ET technologies would require a different form of consciousness to operate - I would think of it as a state that is perhaps a little closer to the associative rapidity of the dream-world than to our normal waking state. This seems suggested in whistle-blower accounts, as there is a cartoony quality to what they describe.
Therefore, it seems possible that if a subset of humanity attains a higher level or grade of initiatory consciousness (as Nassim Haramein discusses in Crossing the Event Horizon, this would be a merging of feminine and masculine, mind and heart), a deeper unveiling of technology and energy may become available to us.
In this sense, what has happened up to this point is a kind of overlapping other or next dimension that is merging with ours perhaps, but is not quite in phase with us yet.
I think of ET contact as neither true nor false, not real or unreal, but as something that is coming to presence within the collective Psyche. I do think it may take absolutely tangible forms in the years ahead - this seems indicated by many accounts, as well as by the increase in UFO sightings in the last years.
I don't think we need to make an "either or" distinction between elves and ETs, or angels and ETs for that matter. They are clearly intermeshed with us on the level of the psyche, in any case.
If Blake is correct that reality is infinite and the imagination is our home, and if McKenna is correct that
the imagination is a lense that allows us to peer into deeper levels of the psychocosmos, then there may be a proliferating multitude of other forms of galactic intelligence (or spirit) that will introduce themselves to us as the dimensional merge takes place.

I couldn't agree more with your comment, for me it is okay to live with the intangible. I feel like I reached a point where it was only possible to view my range of experiences as interconnected. Through creativity and imagination we possess- as you point out -the key to intergalactic travel; or however else we wish to view it, that's entirely up to us.
I feel like I've been to the same place in crop circles, ufo sightings, apparitions, orbs, elves, automatic writing and assorted layers.
Because intangible is okay for me, I wouldn't like to treat tangible experience with too much suspicion, I agree that the cartoon, fantasy world is bumping into ours with an increasing intensity. I connect with McKenna’s morphing clouds, and I found the work of John Mack opened doors for me. It's really the most liberating realisation when we accept that we are the outer limits, as you say, part of an infinite creative process. We just need to let go of our fears and embarrassment, or maybe we just all need to let go and allow our imaginations to invent a new landscape

there better be civil uproar. i am tired of people being in the hole so that others can sit in a pile of {fools} gold. i also think it is really interesting that you said the Tezcatlipoca would return in the year 2011 because my theory about 2012 isn't the apocalypse though it is undefined because i am thinking along the lines of a different perception in communication with others, globally and independently and i sure fucking hope that the people will have finally over thrown the man by then. hey go hand in hand really, unity- what have it.

I personally think that extra-terrestrial speculation is useless except as a metaphor. Let's say we are being manipulated by outer forces, and there are some reasons why it's not unthinkable at least to hold this view point, then what do you do with that knowledge? I do agree that it is a dis-empowering viewpiont, however innocently portrayed. I think Steiner's idea of bringing more and more of our "soul-force" into the physical reality is a good way to stay on top of things, so to speak. Joseph Campbell called it following your bliss, Crowley considered it a conversation with, well, you know the rest. . .
I don't have much else to add to this because otherwise, YES the Obama administration has put the finishing touches on Fascism USA, though he can't take all the credit for it, there's been much work done in the past 100+ years that have made this "crowning" achievement possible.
Daniel, was this whole thing by design? I place all my money on YES, even without being able to prove it. Ha!

Leaving the question of aliens to one side, I think you make a good point. Congress could do away with the Fed. If ever there were a sliver of a possibility, the coming weeks, months (probably not years) might yield one if the US Dollar collapses. It is rather suspicious, funny money at this point.
It really helped me grasp some of what's happening when I was reminded that paper money (or it's electronic equivalent) is just a unit of measurement. If the Fed pumps in a few trillion to the banks without letting anyone know, suddenly, voila, those units don't measure so much anymore because there's a few trillion more floating about. It's like a measuring stick that had units down to the centimeter and you're measuring based on hash marks someone carved on the stick. Overnight someone comes in and adds a new hash mark on the ruler for every one existing there before. If no one told you, and you weren't observant enough, you might think an object you measured yesterday had grown to twice its length overnight. In reality it's the same size, there are just twice as many units as the night before.
If you read Ben Bernanke's comments over the years he makes it very clear that he would never allow another "Great Depression." You might say, well he doesn't have the power to make that decision. Au contraire, but he does. It's a policy decision on the Fed.'s part as long as the creation of money is not tied to something limited in supply like gold (which it hasn't been since 1971? when the Bretton Woods agreement was abandoned by Nixon):
"The conclusion that deflation is always reversible under a fiat money system follows from basic economic reasoning... Like gold, U.S. Dollars have value only to the extent that they are stricly limited in supply. But the U.S. government has a technology, called a printing press (or, today it's electronic equivalent), that allows it to produce as many U.S. dollars as it wishes at essentially no cost. ... We conclude that, under a paper money system, a determined government can always generate higher spending and hence positive inflation." - Ben Bernanke (before the National Economics Club, Washington D.C. Nov. 21, 2002)
So, if the massive credit expansion of 26 yrs. is contracting Bernanke will not allow that to happen and will give the Banks as much as they need to remain solvent, and thus prevent a massive contraction, deflation, or depression. The thing he doesn't mention (but I assume he must know) is that if we go the other route it is highly inflationary and prices will likely gyrate in sporadic fashion but every higher until (and this is key) the Chinese realize their U.S. denominated assets are almost valueless by way of this process (like the hash marks on the ruler, they have more and more U.S. Treasuries but they measure less and less real wealth. Would the U.S. Federal Reserve prefer the other route, give up and say, ok let's let banks collapse, let the dollar massively appreciate in value, and tell the Chinese that they can buy all U.S. assets? No. They would not.
The Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises wrote that, "There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. So when the currency collapses after its hyper-inflationary trajectory, what next? I like the idea that instead of the same crowd running the show, congress (we the people) abolishes the Fed. for the reasons soul traveler mentions above, and we look at something more sensible.
I I also am very grateful for the thoughtful treatment here on alternative currencies, demurage (which I'd never heard of), etc. We may finally have our chance. Sounds like we will anyway, but just perhaps we could set the system up in a much better sustainable way than in the past 48yrs at least...

Why would extraterrestrials being involved make humans helpless? If they are using the energy of fear and we create less fear, we are not helpless. In fact, anywhere there is a link between them and us, there is a weak point to exploit for our own benefit and powerful energy to tap into when the exchange is positive.
I don't believe that there is anything in the universe that endangers humanity that we cannot overcome or at least positively affect in some way. Whether it is aliens or elves, CEO's or the Fed, dying systems or environmental degradation, there is no reason for anyone to say that we as humans cannot make a difference or that we should feel helpless. Sure, some solutions seem more difficult to create, but that is the joy of being human, embarking on an endless quest to save ourselves and each other. I know this is the skewed view of an eternal optimist, but considering the proven, overwhelming power of each human and our collective abilities when we combine our efforts, I just cannot imagine any threat that we cannot overcome with the proper methods, even if finding those methods is difficult.

It's Revelations again, but this time with extra-terrestrials rather than four riders or the armies of darkness (read: The Romans). It is amazing to me, and at times amusing, that the 'New Age' has yet to produce any really fundamentally new thinking. Here we are again, talking about the apocalypse in exactly the same kind of terms that John of Patmos did two thousand years ago. Did you think 2012 was Mayan? No it's a mask of Christianity, just like the Virgin of Guadelupe is a mask of Most Holy Tonatzin Our Mother. I hear Mayan ancestors, indignant, feeling unseen and their voices stolen.
Here, to my heart, is the only genuinely new piece of information: "Something is going on that is wider and deeper than we know, far beyond the interpretive grids we tend to use." Much wider, much deeper. Start perhaps with the glorious rnadomness of it all that *demands* a pattern to be seen. Ah but we humans love patterns, so how do we know the patterns are out there or enfolded within the folds of our neurology. Obama's meteoric rise demands an explanation... except it could just be a simple sudden rise. GW Bush almost choked on a pretzel in 2005 - now imagine the coinspiracy theories that *didn't* happen because he survived...

Can't help feeling come New Years' Day 2013 there'll be a lot of people looking around with big questions hanging over them. Start with: why do I feel that 2012 is as dark a mandala as the advertising-business mandala that currently holds sway over our lives?

I feel deep appreciation for the partnership model ascribed to ancients long ago beyond the age of the patriarchs. I also look to the wisdom of the traditions so many seem to revile. Teachings of compassion, long suffering, non-violence, sacrifice, and loving to the point of personal loss and physical death. Should we throw it all away in order to purge ourselves of an uncomfortable history or to feed our own social and political justifications. Should I bow to your angels as you dismiss my spiritual and galactic brothers and sisters. Do not our pointing fingers pierce our own souls? Instead can we see the eternal light in the other?

I choose the chalice

I have always chosen the chalice. The chalice is ancient and venerable, and welcomes in partnership all forms and all ways. It is light and enlightening, to my mind. But it needs to be made new for our time, -reprogrammed a bit because the last time the Chalice was used successfully was among the Minoans. As beautiful as that was, much has changed since then. Let's re-envisage it and bring it into being anew.
I distrust apocalypses and great battles. That's the blade talking, and my comments sought to highlight that: the blade is dark, the apocalypse, this 2012 thing, it's dark. I don't feel it leads us anywhere enlightening.
Bow to 'my' angels? Oh you misunderstand me. I didn't bow to them, so why should you? I wouldn't have you bow to anything... I did not point a finger and would not. Why would you see my words as such?
Nor did I dismiss your galactic brothers and sisters or desire to replace them with 'my' angels. Described that way, as brothers and sisters, the mandala starts to become enlightening: a galactic family whose influence we are coming to terms with. I have seen it that way. But a Great Battle? Literal ETs of malvolent influence? No, I see no battle, I see no malevolence.
What scares me is what those who do see a battle might do...
May we re-envisage the partnership model that you, Kevin, speak of. On so many levels it is so good for us as humans.

That's interesting that you'd mention the Temple of Set. I walked the left Hand Path myself, for a period back in the 90s, and the ToS were probably the most hardcore order of hidden sorcerers I came across in my research.
At any rate. There is certainly an extraterrestrial component to all of this. And a literally spiritual one, as well, assuming of course that there is in truth any difference between the two. Plans are coming to fruition in these times that have been set up for millennia.

I am going to have to read your book. Horus has been coming to me lately, which is odd because he has been my god since I was a little girl, but just now has started to show himself in symbols and unbelievable ways.
I am fascinated to hear of these polar currents between Horus and Set...I have been thinking about them a great deal lately. My theory (not really my theory, granted, a theory that came to me and many others over the last few thousand years) has brought me to Horus and Set, and to 2012.
Two days before the theory awoke inside me, my boyfriend H and I were watching a History Channel show on 2012. He said, "What do you think will happen on December 22nd 2012?" I said, "Probably the same thing that happened on January 1st, 2000. I will have a hangover."
Of course I would say this before a life-changing wind would sweep into my mind and change everything.
Anyway, the point of this comment is that I have followed my theory waaaay out there, on many tangents that I don't even touch in the text I have posted, and I am convinced that something is coming in 2012. Are the dates correct? I can't be sure, I haven't done enough research to know how accurately they are depicted by ancient cultures. I imagine reading your book will help me along with this. My theory actually corresponded most closely with the bible, which really freaked me out at first and nearly gave me an aneurism. I'm better now.
I do know this: one of the secrets to life is a vaccum, or SEAL. The seals are about to be broken.
OK so I'd better read that book before I say any more! Thanks for this post, it got me feeling like getting more involved.

As Nassim Haramein recounts in Crossing the Event Horizon, he asks the scientists when he shows them a figure from a traditional book on the structure universe as a balloon with pennies taped to it, who is the guy blowing up the balloon?
The balloon is also the economy, and the fed is attempting to be the man in the picture filling it with air. However, his lungs must empty to fill it and where to get the next breath?
