Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

Why do we go day by day doing things that we do not want or have the desire to do? When things cause us so much emotional pain we do it anyways and continue along a path of perpetual angst.
If only everyone could say no to that appointment you don't want to go to, or the night you don't feel like going to work maybe it would make us happier in the end and eventually we will want to do the things that we originally didn't want to do.
I will work on saying no more often, some like to call it procrastination but I would like to think of it more as freedom and self-expression! In the great lyrics of Bobby McGee, "freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." I will strive to find the happy medium where I have nothing, yet everything I need is just myself and my partner.
We are working on selling our material belongings and in return we will gain our independence from debt and a perpetual cycle of "I've got to have that" mentality. Once that is finished, we will be moving away. Everything is going so fast it may not take very long at all to be where our heart desires. This is all in reference to the blog I posted about getting off of my ass and doing something about my dreams right now instead of waiting and that awful procrastination.
The change can be made. The universe is my playground and I intend on using it!

kudos
Congratulations, I especially like the motivaiton to be freed from the perpetual cycle of debt, I myself have always refused to have such things as credits cards and payments, I have traveled all over the continent without much more than I can fit on my back, and I lose many possessions, and when push comes to shove I don't miss them, in that aspect I have truly been liberated from the cycle of want, because I always have what I need. The universe is one hell of a playground, and I ask all of you, do you want to play? Mahalo!
