So this Crown Chakra/ Higher Brain Function Thing...

The back of my neck pulls and shakes when an unpleasant thought flips into my head. My throat tightens and I experience an intense wave of confusion while I lose touch with reality and go into my own blurred vision of it.

This sucks when it happens, which is daily.

Nature has supplied us with all the brains it has created so far. It starts with our lower hind/reptilian brain, which is our basic need for survival and goes up to the forebrain, the part that makes us human. I find myself living through the hind brain more than I'd like to, always stiff and questioning my safety, so lately I've been focusing on the higher parts of my brain, the front line, the territory that nature is in the process of exploring.

The more I focus on this higher/frontal brain, the more I can pinpoint my problems without falling under their spell. The crown chakra is located up top where there is said to be enlightenment, so is it possible by following "the light" we set the stage of development for the next brain to come in? I find a lot of deep interior movement happening within me, especially in my head which brought on a lot of fear at first, but now I'm much more accepting of it.

I don't know what is happening up there, but I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing anything similar ?
