Norway Spiral: Is my painting a synchronicity?

IcerocketI did this painting one night in the spring of '09. It was just an abstract expression of what was inside me at the time, not consciously intended to be anything else. But now that I have seen the Norway spiral pictures, I'm noticing an uncanny resemblance. I think maybe the painting was a prophetic synchronicity. What do you think? Is it just another spiral, or do you, too, see something deeper? Look at the center of both.

I recall a dream I had that morning, DEC. 9, 09 when the event occured.
I was escaping, running from "authority figures" with a friend and we found a plant-like spiral staircase for refuge. It resembled the golden ratio and it led to an underground sanctuary.
Coincidence or what? Wow.

i like how it looks like a whispery straw man is falling/dissolving/surrendering into the spiral. nice image! doesn't seem like a synchronicity though, not yet anyway! unless there's something you're not telling us! i'm gonna need an uncanny, coincidental, covertly connective, acausal correspondence of consonant, co-occurring circumstance to calculate any sort of special spiral synchronicity, sister.. could certainly be though, far as i know know
spirals are sweet, a pattern for the ages!
going down the path of paths, we start to notice more about the spiral, it creeps into our life among other awesome patterns, letting us know eventually that we are spiraling down our path in significant ways. hope you're enjoying the ride! maybe the norway spiral is humanity's sign, just as your drawing may have been an important one to you, that we will be making a journey down an important spiral to come out who knows where! i personally hope we come out a slide into a giant foam ball pit and get to eat cake and blow out the candles. buuuuut maybe we'll just get flushed down the toilet.

I noticed that spirals are a constant variable in my art, I think it is the universal unconscious expressing itself as a conduit through artists. trying to manifest as a portal into the infinite dimensions of the mind. art is resistance and we are in a time of oppression, so the greater good in manifesting itself through our artwork. I really like your painting, excellent work.
