The Power In Surrender

Through surrender the cosmos gives itself completely to you. This life, this energy, this experience is a divine gift. In each moment, the light that has manifested to create this moment surrenders itself completely to the void, allowing a new moment to manifest. Life itself is a process of surrender, which eats itself in a perpetual cycle of evolution,a constant cycle of death, transformation, and rebirth.

By allowing ourselves to surrender completely to life, accepting it as a process which is unfolding naturally rather than a force to be dominated or controlled, we can truly align ourselves with the natural flow of energy which permeates all beings. When all of our self-constructed blockages have finally been released, our energy will flow freely without obstruction, and we will find ourselves in greater harmony with the world around us.

When we are open and receptive to the natural energy flow of the cosmos, we have access to greater reserves of energy. By surrendering the self we may allow source energy to channel directly through us, giving us the strength to empower ourselves and those around us as we unify with the Spirit of all things. This source energy is freely available for all beings, and our capacity to channel it depends solely upon our ability to surrender ourselves to the flow of the universe.

We have collectively manifested several blockages within our society that keep us from living within this natural state. When energy is unable to flow freely due to blockages, we become stagnant. This stagnancy keeps us locked in one place as we consistently manifest repetitive patterns in our life over and over again. By acknowledging the parts of ourselves that we have been avoiding, and confronting the aspects of our shadow which we have been repressing or denying, we can observe the tendencies and habits which have imprisoned us within our current manifestation of reality. Many of these aspects of our shadow are very deep seeded traumas that took root in our unconscious during past lives or early child hood experiences when we were vulnerable to impression.

The more we meditate, the deeper we dig into the depths of our own being, the more it will become apparent that every aspect of our life which we perceive to be negative is ultimately a circumstance we have created for ourselves. Every element of our immediate perception of the world is something we have manifested through our choices, emotions, thought patterns, and habits. Once this has been realized, a very profound sense of responsibility to undergo the long and rewarding process of self-healing becomes apparent. The path of self-healing is a path of surrender, surrender to the heart and to the moment.

As we surrender to this process of healing and confront these aspects of our shadow, we can begin taking the necessary steps to transmute them. This is a painful and organic process, however it is the only way to achieve any transformation of any lasting value. Although confronting these aspects of the shadow requires initiative, it is a process which can flow easily and smoothly depending on the amount of resistance we choose to create for ourselves.

Sometimes, resistance, or internal friction, is a good thing. It creates a fire within us that provides fuel for transformation. it is in this way that we may use our own weaknesses to our advantage, by utilizing the energy that is created in their transmutation we can feed ourselves and gather more energy to push ourselves forward.

Other times, we become overwhelmed by the resistance we have created for ourselves. By looking inwardly and examining our beings at a very deep level, we may often find that the object which is creating resistance within ourselves stems from our own attachment. By completely releasing our attachments and desires, our energy can once again return to it's natural state of free flow.

By surrendering and finding the path of least resistance we can allow our energies to effortlessly align themselves with the harmony of the cosmos as we allow ourselves to fulfill our destiny and our role within the divine drama that we are all a part of. By fully accepting the circumstances of each moment we can release the attachments of the past and the future so that we might fully embrace our true self.

The ultimate manifestation of surrender is embodied by a very powerful modern archetype - the Crucifixion. The crucifixion is a metaphor for surrender in it's highest form. When one willingly surrenders the self for the benefit of the whole, this act of sacrifice creates an extremely large amount of energy. It is in this way that Christ transmuted the collective Karma of humanity. This is Liberation.

One can also see this form of surrender inherent within nature. The consciousness of plants is based on selfless surrender. Plants and trees willingly give themselves to the service of all life so that life itself may continue and propagate. Plants have been around much longer than our species, and they are able to sustain all life on the planet through the production of food and oxygen while simultaneously allowing their growth and evolution of their own species.

Surrender in it's purest form ultimately comes from a place of love. It is out of love that we are able to surrender ourselves to the forces of the cosmos so that we might be of greater service to Spirit. The more we allow ourselves to align with the natural vibration of nature, the more we surrender to life as a process, accepting our place in something much greater than ourselves, the less resistance we will encounter in our existence. It is in this way that we might liberate ourselves from all self-created suffering.

yeah!

well said. nicely put. acessable deep and most of all True. its the hardest and most easy wonderful thing a person can do.

dont' necessarily believe the hype

the ultimate manifestation is the cruxifiction?

who made up this myth? why?

i'm not ready to accept that the dominant western religious story holds the key to our salvation ... but willing to entertain some discussion on it

i wouldn't want to too-easily abandon the perspective that the christian religion is a carefully-crafted enterprise used to basically enslave people (their minds, their bodies, their spirits) and in that vein am a bit suspicious when all the best answers come from the bible

ps

the archetypes are mutating :)

Well Said.

I can sense a powerful force behind your words. You are strong in the Sacred. You will help change the face of the world greatly.

For communion.
