Wishlist for Evolver Vancouver

Since we've begun doing our spores last spring we've managed to do fairly well with limited resource. We've lucked into having regular access to a video projector which is very helpful. We've been conducting livestreams via ustream.tv which is a first for any of the Evolver Spores in the network which I hope will catch on. This has made it possible for us to also record our events in addition to sharing it with an online audience which for our 2012 spore was quite large. (144 views). To make our online presence better and to record the audio as best as possible a Zoom mic would serve us well. We've borrowed one for the Gift it Up Spore and it worked like a charm allowing us to be heard online clearly without having a booming level of volume for those in the space who also did not have to hold a microphone in order to speak.

A Zoom mic also can be plugged into a computer with USB and instantly upload the audio. With it we could also be doing interviews and preparing for shows with guests who can't be present with us for events. They run about $260. With any donations we have after covering space rentals we'd like to invest in such a mic.

Ideally a decent video cam would also be great allowing us zoom in on subjects and not be limited to what the webcam can pick up in a dimly lit room. If people can loan us and help us film events for youtube that would also be wonderful.
