So, this idea came up after looking on couch surfers and not being that interested really, I'd prefer an 'Evolver' couch anyday!!!
Some random questions:
Is anyone on here already running a Couch Surfing group?
If not then who would be up for starting an Evolver Couch Surfing group?
Are there enough wanderers here for such a group to function ?
Would people want to include and exchange house sitting and pet sitting also?
Would anyone in this evolver orientated community be into giving a couch for an eccentric european for a night of interesting conversation ?
Here are my travel plans for any evolvers that might want to meet up or donate floor or couch space for one night in Newark or Florida, or that might just want to meet up in San Fran for lunch/coffee ?
I have a sailing boat "berth" (2 beds/berths actually) to exchange for a couch in July or August sometime in the Caribbean after the boat has been finished to go into the water again.
I'm looking for an evolver couch on the night of the 7th of June and would really love to meet any evolvers that are in the Newark NY area where I have a layover till tuesday morning.
After that am in Florida and could be into looking for a couch there too but I doubt anyone would have one where my boat is in Indiantown, Florida.
Then I am in San Francisco in mid June, but I will be staying with my partner there, but would love to meet up with any San Fran evolvers for coffee?
Then likey to be back in Florida by July to finish work on the boat also if anyone around this area is doing any work for the Gulf Oil Disaster get in touch as im sure we exchange contacts and join forces somehow as we have a project unfolding there .

*It is advisable to ask Evolver Pet Sitters & House Sitters for some references for your own security, obviously you can discuss this through emails within the Evolver network.
If you are a Evolver Couch Surfer please do not just look at the list of Hosts and email them without joining this group first, this provides some legitimacy and security for us to organise a successful network of participating Couch Surfers for the Evolver Community.
Please leave a comment below with your specific Evolver Couch Surfing criteria details so that other Evolver Couch Surfers know what you have to exchange. Those who offer to Host will only accept Evolver Couch Surfers that have a full Evolver Bio and Picture. Same here. Does anyone know how to address the access issue?
I'm definitely interested in the idea of a dedicated forum here on Evolver; one that might include housesitting, timeshares, rideshares, etc. Depending on how it's implemented, it could become a vital and dynamically engaging part of this community. I see no shortage of wanderers, travelers, explorers, guides, and space holders on this forum.

ive not had any problems with it my end though... but i think its still being approved it can take a few days. I only set it up and submitted it yesterday.
