Graham Hancock is not a poet but his contribution to "Taliman" is a masterful example of ( to coin a phrase) the poetic blues man.

Ackroyd &Blushi entertained,. He & Robert Bauval work the blues idiom Call &Response in “Talisman.”

The Call :to inform: loss of life, loss freedom, loss land , loss life.
The Response: to get, the father of light,,Isis, jesus, the pope, etc., to “respond”/explain

Each loss the blues man sings about Hancock writes about albeit in a larger often other world context, but it's all ”poetic” there.

This reader is moving toward change.

Belushi where ever you are take notice. Aykroyd has.
