Just a note to anyone who hasn't tried DMT yet... GO OUT AND GET SOME!!! This stuff is total and utter cosmic stuff and I won't even waste time trying to explain it with words. My theory is that it will be what brings on the new human evolved consciousness because it is very good at destroying the ego. This would enable us to stop thinking as "me" but as "us."

has been a long time desire

has been a long time desire of mine since my first experience with DXM and psilocibin, hopefully i can one day come across it

yeah same! For some reason

yeah same! For some reason all drugs give me a spiritual experience, With E being one of the strongest. I've heard DMt described like this" Load Universe into cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire!"

~*~

DMT is in nearly every living entity on the planet. It's in most grasses and it's in our brains already which is why it is such a comfortable medicine to use. we just open up, take it in, get the download and it's magically wonderful and loving feeling. like a big hug and a kiss and chocolate chip cookie with hemp milk whilst watching your favorite cartoon from God.

i believe in divine intelligence and that a supreme being made this world and if DMT is in nearly everything, including us and we are all imperfect reflections of the One Perfect Being then it would be safe to say that when you are in DMT Land that you are in God's land, God's mind in a way. You are God and God is you and you are meeting your Godlike self in there. I always like to think of it as You and God Face to Super Face and when you open the door to that world you are opening a door to one of God's many many rooms of wonder and delight. you are meeting your soul and God's soul and she is trying to tell you something in that time you have. it's like you're getting instructions or something. at least I get instructions.

DMT also kind of saved my life. I smoked it quite a bit but not too much even though I dont' think it's possible to really over smoke if you are in the right set and setting and can handle it, but every time i did I found out a new past life or it would help me integrate a past life or move energy through that i couldn't do on my own and it would also clean out my lungs. After i smoke it I huck up a gob of cigarette crud that has been in my lungs siince I started smoking at the age of 14. I have stopped smoking cigs but man, it takes a while to clear that out, yet with DMt it happened fast! it is such a high vibration medicine that if you smoke it enough it just keeps bringing you up and up the vibrational ladder so that things that are lower vibration like disease don't stick to you anymore. I was truly afraid that I might have had lung cancer like my mom, who is dead cuz of it, but i have no fear anymore and my lungs are quite healthy feeling and I simply just not worried like i was that i would die the same way. I replaced my death with life from a bottle of medicine that should be legal everywhere. It is thee most harmless medicine anyone could ever take. I praise it every day that i have been able to enjoy the greatest gift God ever gave us to get us out of this mess that falling asleep at the wheel has gotten us into. it's like a dose of love every time and love is greatly lacking in this world. if more people could feel it, love that is, or even love through DMT the world would be a much happier place. I hope that happens. More love, in every form.

In Lak'ech Ala K'in

"DMT is in nearly every

"DMT is in nearly every living entity on the planet."

Well I wish it was true... but that is a bit of an exageration. It is in soem plants... and yes our body does produce it. Seratonin is a very close relative chemical structure wise... so is melatonin. Seratonin is in oats and figs... but like DMT its not in nearly everything...
Its in a few different types of grass too, but defintely not most.
A really good source for learning about what plants have DMT in them and which ones do not is Trouts notes on tryptamines from higher plants. A very good book.
What is really fascinating to look at is that these plants are not just a chemical factory, but that the alkaliods in plants serve a purpose in the plants biological functions. DMT in a plant like seratonin, or even cyanide serves some sort of biological function for the plants over all life functioning... this means that the DMT has apurpose in the plants functioning that is probably not related to it being in an altered state of conciousness.
Another interesting point is that plants do... use chemicals for many different things including communication. Plant can communicate via the release of chemicals, they can also produce their own insectacides and fungicides and vermicides and poisons to keep bipeds away too, it also creates attractants to draw animals to them that they require for polination and reproduction purposes... the list goes on and on...
fascinating...

Yup DMT is in us naturally

Yup DMT is in us naturally we just have to inhibit the inhibiter. I always found that an interesting concept. It is kinda of like the lactose DNA cleaving itself.

DMT

I think DMT is the tree of life the Bible talks about. I think it is the physical manifestation of the soul, the "God particle." It is definitely a tool put here by higher beings and may be just as responsible for forming life as DNA itself. I believe that while DNA encodes the physical body and is responsible for species evolution, DMT encodes the soul and is responsible for spiritual evolution. DMT destroys the ego and brings the user back to the moment of birth, a time when those barriers we put up against the world do not exist and we are susceptible to all the energies that roam this world. DMT is definitely the most useful tool a shaman can posses.

DMT

I think someone on here mentioned the website--dmt-nexus.com

It is a very informative site and tells your how you can extract it yourself if you're interested...also tells some pretty cool experiences people have had...

The DMT-nexus is a great

The DMT-nexus is a great source of information on DMT. The DMT wiki they have there is wonderful as well...
The mods can be a bit over bearing at times though... but over all a very nice community.

SWIM managed to get a changa sub forum created there which is a nice place to learn about CHANGA and dmt.

Diemethyltriptamine

our pineal gland produces it already and I don't think that we need a powerful hallucinogen to have a shift in consciousness there are many ways but it did shift my consciousness! but it was the most powerful trip i have ever experienced and not many people are actually ready for that. I thought i had died at first then I thought i was dreaming after i came back to somewhat of a conscious state but anyway if anyone does obtain this be careful not to do to much at first its definitely if not one of, its the most intense trip you can ever have. It is released when you are in R.E.M sleep supposedly. Why is it that everyone looks to chemicals to have consciousness shifts? I do agree it brings upon consciousness change but that is like using a crowbar rather than a key to unlock a door....

Yes

I like how you said "like using a crowbar rather than a key to unlock a door...." This is very true. Although drugs can bring us to higher awareness (if only for a short time) they are merely stepping stones to something beyond ourselves, and they are not the only ways of reaching these states. The fact that our body already produces DMT is proof of that. Realizations and intuitions which are gained through the use of substance may have validity in the everyday world, but there are many ways of coming face to face with ourselves (read:god) other than the use of substance.

Now on the other hand, I do agree if more people experienced the effects of DMT, and understood it, that we would live in a more peaceful world. The appeal here is having something handed to you for free. There is no work involved in smoking a pipe, and DMT especially can open us up to worlds beyond imagination. But relying solely on any substance as the only means to opening our minds to greater powers is, I feel, a ignorant view to hold.

Practices like meditation and lucid dreaming can effect us in ways very similar to a DMT 'trip', not to mention be entirely more rewarding. Yes, we must develop our minds to unlock greater awareness, and yes, there is work involved, but isn't that what makes the realizations all the more meaningful?
Like any practice, smoking DMT should be approached with sobriety and purpose, and not as some wacky 'trip' that has no consequence. Yes, there are powers greater than us, and yes they can be forgiving, but it is not all fun and games. There is a price to pay for relying solely on substance to bring about understanding, mentally and physically. Sorry to put a damper on all the excitement.

why not?

People have so many opinions about drugs, like it's "cheating," or it's an escape from reality.. But drugs to me are something different. They are divine tools put here to help us expand our consciousness. I have been doing various drugs since I was 15, not to escape reality, but to get a better sense of what reality is. Drugs introduce us to parts of our brains that we may have never discovered on our own. I don't see anything wrong with doing drugs often as long as one has good intentions about the drug. It goes along with the idea that our intentions effect everything. I don't think drugs are damaging to the users when they have pure intentions about taking them. Even the horrible drugs like crack can teach the user loads of information about themselves and about God. Think about it. How many people became spiritual after an intense acid trip? How many people found god because of a drug addiction? The way I see it, drugs are good, period. I think training you brain to deal with every psychoactive substance is a good way to come very close to enlightenment, but the final and most important step will always be reaching inner peace with meditation.

The problem with drugs is it

The problem with drugs is it is a type of short circuiting of the body. Use drugs and you may lose your ability to achieve the same thing naturally later. Learn to release DMT internally and you lose your external attachment. Kundalini requires high pressure so what if you mess up your piping?
