Then will I return to the people a pure language.

—Zephaniah 3:9

The theory of everything will be self-explanatory. It will be self-evident. By definition, it will account for itself. It will be self-aware.

It will not be a materialist theory, because materialism is not self-aware. It will be a living, breathing theory that bows to nothing but Life.

It will not only unify the sciences, it will sew together all areas of knowledge with all spheres of life: history, morality, economics, law, language, technology, education, art, personal growth, and all the other good stuff.

A true understanding of existence. It will talk about compassion. It will talk about responsibility. It will talk about gratitude and discipline. And it will talk about freedom. An effective theory of nature, from the inside out.

But first science must open its eyes, to realign itself with the desires of the heart, and see that the unity of science exacts the unity of Man.

The complete understanding, the promised land, the final revelation of the Truth about the world and Man. The coming kingdom, the garden of delights, from which we were expelled as sinners, but shall return as kings.

A Theory of Everything

Because Everything includes all that exists, there is nothing outside of it. Therefore, it is completely defined by what it is internally, which means that any being that it has derives from its own internal differentiation (diversity).

If there were no distinct things, then there would be no diversity, and that would result in universal Nothingness. Distinct things are impossible without limits to define their boundaries. Limits are a property of finite things, such as we are. But any finite thing, no matter how large (e.g., the entire world) is as nothing when compared to Everything, which is Infinite. So, we have the apparent paradox of finite things that have a literally non-existent influence on the Infinite nonetheless, as a class, making the difference between universal Being and universal Nothingness.

This means that while it is true that any one of us could die tomorrow and it would have no effect upon the Infinite, it is nonetheless impossible to argue, based upon that fact, that what we do does not matter, because that same argument would apply equally to *all* finite things, and if *all* finite things were to perish, there would, as mentioned above, be universal Nothingness.

If we were to argue our own insignificance on the basis of our finiteness, then we would be applying a rule to ourselves that we have to admit could not be applied universally. To make such an unwarranted exception would be to introduce a fundamental inconsistency into our own world view. So, our motive for acting as though our lives matter is to preserve our own integrity by avoiding such inconsistency. And nothing is more fundamentally in our own interest than preserving our own integrity, because without our integrity we would not exist.

Integrity is cooperative diversity. Our bodies, for example, maintain their integrity because their various parts (organs, tisssues, etc.) work together in a cooperative manner. Cooperation at one level (e.g., the inner workings of a person's body) results in an element of diversity at the next more inclusive level (e.g., by resulting in a person who functions as an element of diversity within the community in which she lives). And so, cooperation and diversity weave existence by interleaving themselves in an alternating manner up through a hierarchy of inclusiveness.

And that is my Theory of Everything.

ok

Nice. Now we need to translate and apply that to life. You should write a blog about it.

Thanks.

oh, yellowseed

I too often ponder about a Theory to 'Everything', basically the path to find 'god' in whatever way 'it' exists to you.
Through my past years of walking this path before me i feel i have began to see why everyone always said "God is Everything"
I feel like it's beginning to make sense to me, as well as everyone else. Funny that we're all beginning to see together, and seemingly at the same time. This is now and this is happening, right here, and starting with all of us together.
Together we will shine through and see with our own eyes the 'true' vastness of existence, and the never ending potential of experience

amen brother!

First comes experience then

First comes experience then comes understanding...

Great post...

Theory is a Form of Immanence

Theory is a representation, through symbols, of that which exists.

Theory will, of necessity, be less than the totality of what it represents, because no one of us is as large as the universe; we are only one part of it, and so we cannot possibly represent it in all of its impossible detail within our limited minds.

But we can represent it abstractly, from our particular perspective. And when we have such an internal model, it represents a manifestation of the All (the "Divine," if you like) within the specific (the "material," if you prefer that term). That is, it is a reflection of the whole within one of its parts, which is called "immanence." But that reflection will always be less than the whole that it represents. And yet, without such reflections, there would be no Divine at all.

So, we can't say that nothing needs to be understood, only lived, if we want to have a "theory." That is not to devalue direct experience, living in the moment, openness to being at the level of our natural physical form, resonance with nature. But our method of evolving is now beyond our biology; it happens within our symbol systems. And so our fate, and the fate of the planet in the near term at least, rests upon our ability to bring those symbol systems into alignment with integrity, both for our society and for the natural world.

spot on

But our method of evolving is now beyond our biology; it happens within our symbol systems. And so our fate, and the fate of the planet in the near term at least, rests upon our ability to bring those symbol systems into alignment with integrity, both for our society and for the natural world.

Thanks a lot

Something ... Anything?

There is no "everything" from the Quantum perspective ... no "nothing" either ... the mind is a terrible thing to waste

what?
