I honestly don't know where to begin, but I feel it's time I started talking. What do we tell our friends and family, our parents? How do we get them to understand and see what's really happening around them? To see what we see, we who are connected to and in touch with this world via technology. I am talking about the personalities out there, young and old, who construct their belief systems on information obtained from sources beyond the television and newspapers, beyond the top-down media. I am talking about those people who have spent endless hours, weeks, months, years online and offline trying to decipher what the hell is going on, the people who ask WHY, who understand critical thinking and are not afraid of the truth.
Are we afraid to talk about this, or does no one know?
Those of us who only watch the TV and read newspapers will have a hard time accepting the full reality of our situation, and difficulty in comprehending what I am attempting to communicate. This is the tip of the iceberg.
It seems 'people' are reluctant to accept the truth because they have too much at stake, including their identities. It is scary not knowing who you are in a world that appears to see you as an expendable drone, a walking corporation. However, since the control system is quite transparently fear-based this should not come as a big surprise. Ultimately, for those who seek the truth a shift in identity is unavoidable unless you are lucky enough to have identified with your consciousness prior to being 'educated'.
When the truth finally sinks in and the shit hits the fan we in the Western world will inevitably feel a mixture of anger, fear and hate, but this is of no use, and will only make the situation worse. It is completely self-destructive. It is scary when you realise you don't know who you are, but we exist and we are all in this together. Together we can remember who we are. No one is static or fixed because we are all in continuous evolution. Furthermore, we must forgive those who seek to control us and take away our liberties, because they too are subject to the same laws of conditioning that make us who we are. We are reflections of each other, because we are each other: we are one with the environment, because we are the one environment.
This is a taste of our 'true' situation: we think we are 'free', but most of us are asleep; we think we are 'adults', but we are all still children; we think human nature is inherently 'bad' and competitive, but we have been deceived... - the list is endless because the gap between what we are told is going on and what is actually going on is enormous - politics is a language game, democracy is an illusion, money is not wealth, sanity is unsanity, the war on terror is a war on freedom, the war on drugs is a war on consciousness, employment is slavery, education is programming, television is mind control and the media is 'official broadcast' (a hybrid of misinformation and disinformation). This is the 'official' world we now live in. It is completely backwards, but it doesn't have to be like this. We don't have to act this way towards each other. We don't have to compete, we can wilfully collaborate in full consent. It is our choice to play this game, and we can choose to wake up at any time. We can play a new game.
It doesn't matter how you describe it to yourself or those around you, your children are going to experience the reality we are co-creating together right now. We are all equally responsible. We are holding up the hierarchy. No one is 'in control'.
Your thoughts matter because it is through our thoughts and actions, our behaviour, that we express our power. Our vote is not the box we tick to elect a political party, it is in our choice of thoughts and actions. It is what you think, and currently what you buy. Our collective intelligence and imagination should never be underestimated. We are powerful sovereign beings and we can redesign this world. We can and will, because we value more than 'profit'. We are living, breathing, sentient beings, and we are not machines. We are not the description.
Our biosphere is being destroyed and there are billions in poverty. Meanwhile, we have enormous technological potential and the ability to create an abundance for everyone, sustainably. If you disagree with this, you are probably not aware of the current state of our technology. We must act.
If you have children, please ask yourself what you want your children to experience in their future, or ask them. Think about it. Feel what they feel, and will feel. What do you want to experience in your future on this planet? Whoever you are and whatever you decide, no one can tell you whether or not you are right or wrong. There is only experience.
I am well aware that a large percent of you won't believe a word I'm saying here, and yet this is just the tip of the iceberg. Please don't believe a word I'm saying. Find out for yourself. It may sound all negative at first, but knowledge is power. There is no reason to dwell in the darkness.
Those of us who still feel compassion will choose to inform ourselves, empower ourselves, free ourselves, and help those around us. We will wake others up if they ask, but until they are ready we can only concentrate on ourselves. Love is not a difficult choice to make, but many of us have grown afraid of it. No one has to be left behind, no one has to be punished, no one needs to be put in a cage. Together we will turn this nightmare into a dream.
"Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. For we are the ones we have been waiting for."

Yeah man...yea
I hope you don't mind, but I incorporated a paragraph of this into a facebook note, promoting the launch of Evolver Mount Pleasant. Your words ring true in my eyes, friend.
Yes!
Hand-in-hand we will dance into the future we create, or be dragged into the hell we failed to prevent. Thanks for the great post!
Some friends and I had the same thoughts a few years back and moved into "action mode". Here's what we're doing with some amazing folks to try to make a difference:

review & thoughts
> What do we tell our friends and family, our parents? How do we get them to understand and see what's really happening around them?
IMHO, those efforts are a waste of time. people aquire knowledge because of an inner intent to do so. it is a waste of time to develop understandings with anyone that isn't driven toward understanding or knowledge or reality.
> ... belief systems ...
hmmm ... never liked that word "belief".
> ... not afraid of the truth. Are we afraid to talk about this, or does no one know?
not all minds are the same. without the daily risks and demands of a more primitive or agrarian society, there hasn't been much chlorine in the gene pool for the last 100+ years. and those with a taste for the desire and adventure of seeking truth and reality and mastering various things in life have not typically the breeders. i am not in agreement with the big "mouths" in Patriot talk-radio concerning "the elite want to kill us all". to the contrary, i think they want innovative and constructive minds overrun and diluted with a very base mentality, a low-level mind, a population of dependents that can be manipulated and controlled easily by means of their animalistic and instinctive desires and predictable reactions.
> Those of us who only watch the TV and read newspapers will have a hard time accepting the full reality of our situation, and difficulty in comprehending what I am attempting to communicate.
generalizing ... they CAN'T understand well, and even if they can open up to some knowledge, it's the only step they can take, and is therefore, pretty much meaningless. i don't think people really understand that the AVERAGE IQ IS 100, and that kind of mind has limited capabilities. it is pretty much limited to following the paths that lead to pleasure or the praise/acceptance of others. as one person i know calls them, they are "groupers" :) hehe. they find safety and comfort being part of some "group", aka, mob. and they are the ones that make this world dangerous and unsustainable, because they will always be led by those with power, and power always corrupts.

the thing is ... those are only the thoughts of a sovereign. leaders seek their own material gains, relying on the support of their followers/believers; and followers just seek the acceptance of their team mates, and leadership of their leaders. the sovereign mind is outside of the leader/follower duality/cult, and in a very small minority. and it's probably always been that way, and will probably always be that way. sometimes i want to believe differently, but then i look around at the people when i am standing in a line in a public venue, and i lose all faith.
> Ultimately, for those who seek the truth a shift in identity is unavoidable unless you are lucky enough to have identified with your consciousness prior to being 'educated'.
i would say i was "lucky" in that way, if you want to call it lucky. but i was also an outcast in school much of my life because of it. the only thing i noticed in early years was that nobody could ever explain their thoughts and actions very well, wheras i only had unanswered questions.
for example, when i was a kid, the teachers would make everyone in the class stand and say "Pledge of Allegiance" every morning in school. and everyone would have to stand and put their right hand on their heart, and "Pledge Allegiance to a Flag" - and as a child, i thought that was the most absurd thing i ever could imagine, and i refused to follow such instruction like a mindless idiot. i just sat in my seat, and stared at everyone else - and accepted everyones looks and reactions. then the teacher would give me "Unsatisfactory" on my report card for "Plays Well With Others". i didn't really understand the concept of "pledging allegiance to a flag" - i mean, what does it really mean? and why did all the other kids do it? and why did they look at me strange for not doing it? i think there is some answers those questions that are apropos to this article.
later on, teachers always used me as an example in class, and used me in ways that would make the whole class laugh at me. and one day, in 8th grade, i asked a teacher "why do you do that?" ... and the reply was "what do you mean? you don't know?" ... and i said "no ... i don't." and the reply was "because you are the only one that could take it."
in 9th grade, i remember sitting in advanced Algebra/Trig class, and the teacher is just scribbling on the board with chalk, same as every other day, just copying straight out of the teachers handbook - you know, the special book that only teachers can have :) and every hour, every day, the whole class is just sitting there, bored out of their minds, watching this man just scribble for an hour. i am not the dumbest in the world, and i couldn't ever get anything out of the teachers scribbling, so i don't think any others were either. so, one day, i interrupt the teacher with a little anger. and i say "we come to this class every day, and every day you just scribble on the chalkboard all this stuff without caring if anyone is understanding anything or not! nobody is learning anything from all that writing on the chalkboard, this class is just a waste of time ..." and i was given "detention" for several days after school - and interestingly, it seemed that is where all independent thinkers were put.
i share those stories because i think they offer simple understandings of why the world is the way it is - and it's nothing that can be "fixed" because it is just a fundamental part of human nature - the independent minds are only 3% or so of the population. maybe less. the right to private property is the only safe-haven for a sovereign people. and we don't even have that anymore. you can't even live on your own land and feed yourself anymore. if you don't pay the king your property taxes, they will take away your right to exist. that is one reason i created http://i18rabbit.mybesthost.com/ after long legal battles in court that made me realize the losers are in control, and there is nowhere left to run (and i did run far, into the Alaska wilderness, but even that was not far enough to escape "the mob").

i don't know if i can fully agree with "together ..." i think there will be many changes with free-energy that will have a great impact on society and how we choose to live. after all, we only serve the beast because of our need to pay for food and energy generally, and with private property and free-energy, the sovereign man really has no need to serve the beast, and the only ones that do so, will be those that do so voluntarily, or because they are incapable of being responsible for themselves. i think free-energy will define the foundation of the future, and i hope it will move people back to a more independent and agrarian based society ... but something will have to be done about exponential population growth - that cannot co-exist with life-extension and free-energy. i wrote about that here: http://www.rense.com/general92/media.htm

agree.

disagree.

agree in part, disagree in part. depends who "they" are :)
> We are reflections of each other,
agree, if you are talking about followers/leaders.
> because we are each other:
i don't agree - i think the follower/leader paradigm is a completely separate reality from life as an independent sovereign. and they are not each other. they mix like oil and water. and neither has a need for the other.
> we are one with the environment, because we are the one environment.
maybe.
> This is a taste of our 'true' situation ...
yes, that part was really good ... It is our choice to play this game, and we can choose to wake up at any time. We can play a new game ... but you have to realize that ONLY A FEW PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND those words - you can't understand those words if you never had that realization, and the words won't give anyone that realization.
> It doesn't matter how you describe it to yourself or those around you, your children are going to experience the reality we are co-creating together right now. We are all equally responsible. We are holding up the hierarchy. No one is 'in control'.
well, i think the leader/follower gang is in control of the sovereign gang at this time. nobody will let you leave the rat-race. try it for yourself :) get 40 acres and a mule, and see if you will be allowed to live free and independent of the leader/follower gang :)
i really loved this article, and think it was full of good stuff - but i feel that people should be wary of a new "gang/mob/group/faction" striving for power and leadership. that will be the antithesis of the points in this article. i think if something beneficial to mankind is in our future, it will not be the new "gang/mob/group/party", i will be the end of all gangs/mobs/groups/parties, and a restoration of placing sacred value upon the land/air/water of every landowner, and each landowner doing their best to make the land better for their child (2-3, not 10-12).

yes, i want them to have private property and a free-market, and if anyone poisons the air/water/soil on that property, i want them to pay in accordance with laws that have great respect for a sovereign on his private land
independence is a sovereigns only safety. dependence = servitude = slavery => leaders/power/corruption. nobody is safe in a democracy (mob rule).

do unto others
the most condensed version i can think of, as the basic problem/solution to all things, is simply "do unto others as you wish them to do unto you".
problem is: too many people depend on systems, or are part of systems, that do things to people that violate this principle. or, people themselves violate this principle. if i don't have a right to do something to you, and you don't have a right to do that thing to me, then NOBODY, NO CORPORATION, NO GOVT, has any right to do that thing either. if i am not allowed to steal your land and money, and you aren't allowed to steal my land and money, then no govt has any right to do that either. govt is just a collective force to do what any individual has a right to do.
that which is behind us, and that which is before us, is of little matter compared to what is within us ...
Evidence of Fact
In putting this topic forward to most I know whom for the most part seem oblivious, typically respond with `show me the proof'. And herein lies the rub: the evidence is so often distorted, refuted, convoluted in differing opinion that it becomes difficult to be convincing on any matter of concern. One need only look at climate change and global warming as case-in-point. The spectrum of dispute on the issue is global and even though one can see physical evidence of unusual weather around the globe with droughts in one region whilst monsoon-like deluges in neighboring regions on the same continent. The problem lies in knowing what is the root cause of such affects in weather in support of the CO2 thesis.
Ultimately, it is for the individual to find their own version of the `truth' to what is enveloping our worldly condition and leave it at that. When and if the calamity that is professed to be coming materializes at least you will be mentally prepared for it and know well enough to avoid being in the company of those who are less convinced.
