Seers are divided into two categories. Those who are willing to exercise self-restraint and can channel their activities toward pragmatic goals, which would benefit other seers and man in general, and those who don't care about self-restraint or about any pragmatic goals. The latter have failed to resolve the problem of self-importance.

Self-importance is not something simple and naive. On the one hand, it is the core of everything that is good in us, and on the other hand, the core of everything that is rotten. To get rid of the self-importance that is rotten requires a masterpiece of strategy.

In order to follow the path of knowledge one has to be very imaginative. In the path of knowledge nothing is as clear as we'd like it to be. Warriors fight self-importance as a matter of strategy, not principle.

Impeccability is nothing else but the proper use of energy. My statements have no inkling of morality. I've saved energy and that makes me impeccable. To understand this, you have to save enough energy yourself.

If a seer fails to resolves

If a seer fails to resolves the problem of self importance perhaps they were never a seer to begin with?

The two kinds of people I see in the world are those that exercising stewardship with IMMUNITY. And, those that are “doing business”(busy-ness) with NO IMMUNITY.

Hmmmm

Lets see does this float?

"If a seer fails to resolves the problem of self importance perhaps they were never a seer to begin with?"

There are few clearly define standards for ethical or moral behavior on the Warriors Path. No list of "does and don't" so to speak but ......... There are, however, numerous warnings by DJM to stalk one 's self importance and alleviate it. Since he mansions it routinely, I'd say yes seers possibly could have problems with self importance. Self importance is not only a problem for seers, by-the-way. Did you think you found a loop hole, maybe? LOL Nope.

Some principles are

Some principles are reciprocal while others are circular.

The square falls into the definition of the rectangle, but the rectangle does not fall into the definition of the square.

The seer, seeks and looks, and, seeks and looks. But the self-obsessed, who are self-absorbed, by their self-importance, they do not see or look, thus never proved to be a seer and may never. The seer has at least come full circle once or realizes they must come full circle, the reason for seeking and looking, and seeking and looking.

Self importance is a

Self importance is a critical issue in this day and age especially. Due to the dehumanizing effects of industrialization and overpopulation, our individual needs to feel special, different, or significant in some meaningful sense can easily cross the line into a sort of desperation. And desperation can lead to blindness.

The trick for me has been not comparing myself to others, or at least as little as possible. To have a sense of self worth that does not rely upon self importance or recognition in the eyes of others.

Not that I am immune to such things. As someone once said -- Socrates, I think, but a quick Google does not reveal and I have not the time to delve further right now -- "A man who can live without his fellow man must be either a god, or a monster."

Well, I am neither. As Don Juan pointed out, self importance is a tyrant which must be constantly overthrown.
