Did you know that during Seattle Green Festival this weekend, the film 2012: Time for Change will be screened with guest appearances by Daniel Pinchbeck, Joao Amorim, and Penny Livingston-Stark? It'll be at Varsity Theatre in the U-District at 4329 University Way this weekend, June 4-6.

Remember this...... even if you think your grandparents were Indian, but not you.... reclaim your heritage and make your Indian vote count.... It's a good thing.. even it you feel a long long time ago the Indians passed through your blood, it is your right to claim it.... with love... the voice of the Indian blood can be magnified through our love...

Something's happenin' here: 2010's

Do you feel it? There's something happening. More and more people are beginning to rely on do it yourself ideals. Bands aren't signing to major labels anymore. As if they are starting to think that you can't rely on the major businesses. Labels like Sub Pop and Matador are some of the top independent labels among young people my age.

I really believe

this generation is taking good steps forward. I'm from a little town in Louisiana called Gonzales. Most of the people or friends that I've grown up with are starting to realize that something is wrong with this country and aren't willing to conform to the way society set us out to be.
