We are about to embark on the year 2012 and are being faced with challenges and decisions that will bring our hearts and imaginations to the brinks of what we thought possible. A bit of an emergency: The rumor all over Capitol Hill is that the House version of the Internet Blacklist Bill will be introduced this week, probably on Wednesday.
Our allies on the Hill say the bill's so bad that it could effectively destroy Youtube, Twitter, and other sites that rely on user-generated content by making the sites' owners legally responsible for everything their users post.

The Canary Coalition, based in Sylva, NC, is a fantastic organization. They are doing great work to change the poor air quality. But that costs money, unfortunately. I wish it were different, but that is how it is.
Hello San Fran Evolvers! I recently moved here, I was more active with the Portland, OR spore. I'd love to share an event that I think resonates with your values of working and playing in the spirit of love and creativity to celebrate what's beautiful about the human spirit, as well as shining light on important truths about what is harming earth and disrespecting life.
Ok, so maybe we are having earth changes and maybe it seems like alot of messed up things are happening. But everyday I am starting to see that there is a slow turning of the culture.
This was written as a response paper for my philosophy class last semester. The ending is incredibly rushed as it was supposed to be a page or so total in length. I decided to cut myself short at four.

I wrote this entry just before I set off for my life-altering journey through Asia, and right after my friend and I had filed our application to start up a regional Spore in Calgary. the ideas are out there...people sharing the ideas are out there...i even dare to say that the ideas...we all carry within us...like an intrinsic gene that has been within us throughout evolution...all we need to do is to tap into it, to wake it, to dare to face it, listen to it, act upon it...
i surely fall into this category - i feel there is a lot of talk i produce but not much of larger-scale action. lager scale? i mean with that drawing in more and more around me, going out and finally put my actions where my mouth is, get those things started - even on a small scale - which have been on my mind, on my mental to-do-list for a while now.
People want to address poverty, environmental issues, humanitarian
issues and other social and economic problems born out of
repression and exploitation, although we have been without the necessary
