We are at a solemn moment, the moment when colonialism is not dead, alas, but at any rate already knows itself to be mortal. Colonialism is still able to crush and oppress, perhaps more savagely than ever. One thing is sure, however: It is mortally wounded, it knows it is perishable and has lost its historical assurance.

your spiritual path- its whats happening to you, you can never be off it. and path to me implies meeting other people along the path. and its the meeting of the others where the synthesis of ideas comes from and if im a vessel, i view my art from this techne influence as a crucible, a melting of ideas given to me by others ive met walking on the path

Artists are the Mushrooms of Civil Society

Have you heard about the experiments being done to clean up oil spills using mushrooms? Oyster mushrooms can turn the toxic sludge into rich compost and then transform themselves into something good enough to eat. Pass the Butter!

Artists move in to distressed areas and clean them up, make society a better place...just like oyster 'shrooms can absorb the waste, transform it. Alchemy.

EVOLVER (imported from the David Eden Website)

July 22, 2009 - "Evolver"

Jammin’ on the Wolf was amazing!!!! There's nothing like being on the road with your band for a few days, camping, and tubing down a river. We used my Eden rig as the back line all weekend and everyone loved that deep thumpidy thump.
