Recently released image of the far side of the Moon seldom seen and first in Hi-Res quality but, I made curios as to ask as I look at this image:
This video is a brief recording of the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson discussing the planetary alignment on 12/21/2012.
He states that the Sun, Earth, and Moon do in fact, come into perfect alignment with the center of the galaxy. But this happens every year.
