Pressing the Wound

As I get older, I feel a greater urge to seek out dragons and press the vulnerable wounds until they squeal like little rats.

Is Our Existence a Conspiracy?

Is the world as we know it an enormous conspiracy? Its crazy, I know, but don't leave me yet. Surely some, if not most of you, are aware of near death experiences (or should it be after clinical death experiences?). If you are not and even if you are, I've provided a link to a very interesting documentary on NDE's at the bottom.

The New Face of Spirituality

I believe James Cameron is doing his part in bringing about a new age with his film avatar. I just watched a video(that i will add) about apparently hundreds of people that face depression after watching the film.

Papyrus Costs Avatar Best Picture

You and I damn well know that Avatar earned best picture this year. But nooooooo, Cameron's ex-wife had to go an make a war movie that actually has a little concept behind it but really only made me sick to my stomach. Watching a dude defuse bombs for two hours will do that apparently. I give a lot of credit to Cameron for what he did with this movie.

Change Everything By Doing Nothing!

Hi Everyone. This is an article from one of my e mailings to clients. Although it references some of my work, it is also relevant to what is discussed on Evolver, which is why I am sharing it here. Also you can substitute most inner oriented activities in place of the attunements with similar results.

Avatar - The Real (Earth) Story

With a ll the recent talk and debates about Avatar, I found this video compelling.
I finally got out to see the movie last week, and spent most of the evening in tears, as I immediatley saw the parallels Cameron was making.
U.S. Oil and Mining corporations are currently involved in an unreported genocide and ecocide in Peru, and no one even knows or seems to care.

Sorry.. more thoughts on Avatar

My stepfather, who is an Atheist, just sent me an email listing all the negative reviews and attacks on the movie AVATAR.

He saw the movie and he Loved it. he has seen it twice...

When I first heard of the criticisms of Avatar they were here, on Evolver and they dealt more with conspiracy theories and alien overlords....

In Response To Depressed Avatar Viewers...

Rather than leaving me depressed, Avatar has woken me from a slumber I did not fully realize I was in and ignited inspiration within me. The people in the news reports who are feeling depressed and staying depressed after seeing this film are mainly the same people who live their lives in victim-consciousness and have been waiting for something to change outside of them.

The confusing web of conspiracy theories....

I just watched AVATAR for the 2nd time last night. It was still really good.

However,... I came home and stumbled upon a review by Alex Jones of Prison Planet that really confuses me.

give the people what they want

i've seen a lot of posts on how enlightening AVATAR was, how hollywood, or someone, or some cabal inside hollywood was trying to slip a message of enlightenment to the masses in this time of transition. I think we give "them" too much credit on this aspect.

Avatar (Pt. II): Heeding the Call of the Elders

In the remarkable BBC documentary "From the Heart of the World: The Elder Brother’s Warning," the reclusive Kogi tribe, considered to be the last surviving pre-Columbian civilization, emerge from their secluded home in the Sierra Nevada mountains of northern Columbia to deliver a sobering message to the rest of the world: the Great Mother is dying and we, the industrialized nations of the world

Avatar: On gods, guilt and wolves

I went to see "Avatar" this past weekend. It was the first time I have seen a movie in 3D and despite some minor eye strain; I was quite impressed with the technology. I’m a sucker for eye candy and am already giddy at the idea of seeing Tim Burton’s "Alice" in 3D on IMAX.

Avatar and Ayahuasca: A film as allegory and most accurate depiction of the experience.

I have to admit to being a little surprised that poking around Evolver, I haven't seen a post about this already. Having seen James Cameron's Avatar a few days ago, I'd be hard pressed to find a more apt allegory for the ayahuasca experience, at least as I have known it.

If you have yet to see the movie, be warned that I will be revealing some plot and visual details to make the comparison.

Questions about the motive of AVATAR??

So I'm sitting through this avatar movie...and yes I did enjoy the beautiful cinematography and 3d affects.
But throughout the movie I couldn't get the question of motive for the movie out of my head!
Let me try to explain...and see if it makes sense to anyone.
This movie without a doubt will be seen by a huge amount of people all over the world.
