When you watch TV your brain waves are being changed. You are being put into a semi suggestive state due to flicker rates. This isn’t conspiracy theory this is simply the affect of the flicker rates on your TV. However, being a former businessman I can see how this would be great for advertising. Get you into a suggestible state and then tell you how great my product is.
Funny question to ask to say the least, since I actually mean it. Why would I think people are zombies? Well it isn’t really the come back to life zombie I’m talking about but the spiritual zombie. Someone who is walking around dazed and has no real connection to reality even though reality is an illusion we all still must live here.
In this post we are going to discuss the spiritual consciousness or our soul. Spiritual consciousness is completely different then social consciousness or awareness. Being conscious of social issues is important but knowing your own consciousness is more important.
Dec 15th marked a tragic day in American History. The bill of rights in the United States has been through the shredder. Most American's have never read the constitution or bill of rights and therefor do not even know what has been lost. History classes in public schools teach very little about these documents or the reasons for their existence.

The breathe of life. Where is your center point? First it was the brain, then the heart. But in fact, it’s your danjeon. If you could connect to the Universe Consciousness within you, we could create world peace. It all starts within you.

I have been a poet and writer for a long time. These past three years, I have been the astounded witness as the dam has burst letting loose these words of ecstatic, bliss and wonder. It is as if Rumi himself or some other one from the Beloved has spoken through me.
This whole awakening thing is pretty tough. Just look at the Occupy movement. It’s a beautiful sign that the sleeping giant - The People of America - are beginning to awaken from the induced trance we have been in. But it is also an expression of the problem and a reflection of the chaos.

Last night, as I sat in brief meditation at the close of yoga class, my awareness was instantaneously drawn to my third eye. It was not an intentional focus, but felt more like being sucked through a vacuum at the speed of light. My eyes were open and cast downward and I noticed, despite the dim lighting in the room, it seemed my head was engulfed in a hazy cloud of light.
Well, I’ve decided it’s time to start sharing my experiences with people because we are in need of knowledge, understanding and truth. I’m doing this with the utmost respect, humility and passion for the experiences and gifts given to me. I’m also doing it now because it’s frantically screaming to be heard!
I had an interesting insight today. I was on my deck outside writing and in the garden directly in front of me sits a wonderful statue of a White Tara I purchased last fall. I love her. I love her for what she represents, for her work in the world and in service to all beings, and for the beauty she brings into my surroundings.
distractions from what has past serve only to divide attention from what is really real, that which we have now. Nothing happens in the past, nothing happens in the future, anything that is happens now. attending and dwelling on things past distracts from the real nature of things and the awakening to the underlying unity of who we are.
