New Earths, New Futures: Symbolic Synchronicity in the Collective Imagination

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. . . .

Lazy minded atheists take note..

I am fed up with atheists painting those with belief as stupid. They set up straw men opponents and burn them down with smug intellectual satisfaction. It is the atheists that lack imagination and insight because a God arises from the premises of their underlying philosophy. Scientific materialism is incompatible with atheism.

I Am a Dream of Awakening

Hello, nice to meet you. I would introduce myself, but so many people call me by different names, that I'm not sure which one you would be most comfortable with. So, if we can just skip that little formality, please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself.

Minoan Lunar Consciousness (Part Two)

BLOG NUMBER TWENTY-ONE
MINOAN LUNAR CONSCIOUSNESS (PART TWO)

G’day and welcome to my blog. Today I’ll be continuing with the discussion on Minoan consciousness, tackling a very speculative issue from a metaphysical and psychological perspective.

Jupiter and Saturn

J: Oh dear have you heard about Earth? Poor thing, she's got Life.

S: Oh no, you're joking! When did that happen?

J: About 4 billion years ago apparently, well, her years anyway.

S: But she's going to be okay isn't she?

Critiquing Critiques

Everything you see and hear means absolutely nothing. All that really matters are the ones you're with at each moment.
So what about being with no one? Is that okay too? Is all that really necessary or is this okay too? I might well actually be okay.

Cosmology

What do you guys think of Cosmology as a religion? I find it wonderful. Its basically believing that the stars are a big influence in our lives and that everything around us is made out of stars. We all know we're made out of stardust but everyone has the modern theory that the world began with Adam and Eve.

Finnegans Wake and E.T

Over the last few days your author has been thinking... ‘maybe James Joyce was in touch with E.T?’

Oh well what I mean to say is... James Joyce crafted evidence by example, by performance: new ALIEN languaging, new methodology's, new cosomological map's, presented in the form of published books; Finnegans Wake in particular.

An Explanation of Alexander Mayer's Revision of Physics and its Implications

In November of the year before last, an astrophysicist, Alexander F. Mayer, released a completed version of his book, On the Geometry of Time in Physics and Cosmology. His theory ends paradoxes related to the Big Bang and the inflationary picture by revealing a geometrical picture of special relativity, and unifies the strong nuclear force with the force of gravity.

The universe is positive

Although the universe is infinite and you encounter both positive and negative things, always remember your high school math:

The absolute value
|A|=|A|
|-A|=|A|

never doubt the ultimate positive aspect to reality :)
(the negative only exists to define the positive)

What is Real? Mytho-poetic Reality Part 1

Here is a piece of writing from Haida artist, poet, and writer Bill Reid that I read yesterday and really summed up several ideas that have been bouncing around inside my head:

Aquifer of Consciousness

Your reality and mine are unique. Although we're likely to agree on most objective facts, our subjective realities may be infinitely divergent. Regardless of personal philosophy - apart from, say, believing we live in an entirely pre-programmed universe, which is within the realm of possibility (i.e., show me it's not) - we would probably agree that reality is malleable.

Redefining Christ

One Sunday last summer Tom and I joined his parents for a service at their church. The nave of church, spare and white in classic Swedish Lutheran style, is undecorated except for a huge cross accented with eight glass blocks, one at the each end and four at its center.

As I listened to the pastor and looked at the cross, the language and stories he was telling took on a new meaning for me.

Light

Light.

How brightly does you light shine?

We are all containers for this light. We are the light, contained. The container is relevant only in how it shines and spreads light. It is the vehicle for the light and therefore must be maintained carefully.

These are dark times.
Why are they dark?
The containers have been corrupted.
A poison has been spread.
