Carl Sagan left this world December 20, 1996, leaving it a little brighter than he found it. i remember what it was like to see his program Cosmos for the first time on television. it left me feeling as small as a grain of sand on the seashore, yet also as large as life itself.

To all and sundry: Found the following transcript from a (lost) notebook of mine, from 2003. Can't believe how little progress I've made since then! If I don't share this it will sit on my hard drive forever, so here it is, for what it's worth...

My feelings are like
felines
That devour the totality of the truth of my being
Regurgitating things that feel like they're lying

Everyone is always fascinated by the latest technological gadget but how many times do people stop and think that these are all created by fellow humans. It seems that most people tend to become so jaded and distant to the subtle energies flowing about the universe.

Death. It never really struck me that I would one day have a funeral. That I would be in a casket with friends and loved ones looking at me, with smelly, caked up, makeup on my face and a suit with the back cut to shreds with my ass resting gently on the silk lined casket. I have George Carlin of all people to blame for this revelation.

The extraordinary encounter I'm about to describe both challenged and reinforced my concept of reality. It was one of many times I've been reminded that quantum interaction isn't just "spooky action at a distance," but is rather a natural process of the unified field, experienced as pockets of entrainment in our relatively close cosmic environment.

Does DMT or something like it somehow illuminate, from the inside, the quanta of which we are formed? Does it enhance or even create the perception that we are animated, individual, sentient beings in our own right?

Can we dip into dimensions of quantum consciousness that exist within independent universes so obscure we generally don't realise they exist in "ours?"
