Here is a method for determining if somebody is a "dreamer" or a "hunter" ("stalker"), according to Carlos Castaneda's classification, in a simple and systematic way.
I have recently added a new section to our Healing and Consciousness Library, and wanted to share it here. I myself was pretty excited about and started trying it out :) Haven't lucid dreamt yet, but I'm remembering more and more of my dreams.
Our existence beyond duality is a dream-like perception and cannot be a reality but an existence that holds physical reality in it. Dreaming is the informable energy that is given form through our dreaming perception, in other words all is real and not real at the same time. It takes great discipline of the mind to be brought to nothingness in order to live in the dreaming perception.
So I decided to join this "social network" if you will and I've also decided to get into Lucid Dreaming out of pure curiosity and out of the interests of the possibilities as well as the benefits towards my mind and personal evolution.
Last year in 2010, I went to Kathmandu, and stayed with a friend I know living out there; a born Nepalese man who befriended me in 2007 when I first visited Nepal. My stay was for a month the purpose of which to trek and take photographs of Kathmandu. Prior to this I had been sent a video by an internet friend.
Recently I was in a dream state. My dream had quite ordinary beginnings but escalated to something quite elaborate...It started in the normal way, but I believe I must have found my hands as the dreaming became more vivid and I was able after a while to move from one dreaming location to another quite happily.
My story begins 17 years ago when due to difficulties I was experiencing to put it mildly, I was sectioned and taken into mental hospital. I had been living in Manchester in the early 90's but had moved back to my home town where I was hospitalised. I was in a pretty bad way.

In my late teens and early twenties, I studied lucid dreaming heavily. It seemed like the one vaguely paranormal-seeming experience I could hope to have. There's nothing paranormal about it, of course. It's a natural state of consciousness that many people have had at least once, extensively researched in the 1970s by Stanford's Dr. Stephen Laberge.
I believe that life is a dream. Its pretty simple actually. You know I had this dream once. There's this graphic novel series called The Sandman. It's about this guy called Morpheus, an Eternal – they're kind of like gods, but what they really are, are the personifications of abstract ideas about things we experience.
