Hi, my name is Madeline :] I came down to North Carolina to work on an organic farm and because I heard folk were crafty down here. So far, I'm loving the atmosphere and all the wonderful people I've met.
Last year, we had a beautiful opportunity to record some of the rhythms that we play at Firedance jams. It was a bizarre way to come across an opportunity, a friend of 25 years, also one of my favourite metal drummers called me and asked if I thought a few of my drummers would be interested in drumming on a jazz cd.
Well, its my first blog here on Evolver and I'm interested to see where this will take Firedance as well as me. I think this is a great site, and has a lot of opportunity to grow as a voice of a generation of people who would like to see genuine change happen within our society and within ourselves. I have become a witness to these changes, and one who is contributing my small part.
