Life is an incredibly balanced ballet of ego and spirit. Our spirit is the substance of complete unity with all of life that is, and our ego is the instrument for separateness and division. What an extravagant tension is created within us here on Earth school; this need to be one with all and this drive to perforate our existence from the others.

Many of us now are beginning to experience our own versions of the underworld; we are losing material possessions. Jobs that were once vibrant for us but have now withered and died, and homes that once served our every desire for manifestation are now slipping from our grasp back onto the abyss form whence they came.

What I Do…

In one evening, I have moved from a grounded connection with my solid roots to a swimming head from far too much information to process in one sitting. The culprit? My watery cancer mother and the stories of madness she felt so inclined to divulge over wine and, perhaps, a touch of sleep deprivation with me.

In a time when we are becoming increasingly aware of the Incompletions in our world, we are also finding life increasingly thought provoking. Many of us are awakening to the stories of other cultures and communities and are faced with the challenge of putting forth effort to nourish our inner Empress while so many others struggle.

Have you ever been lost in a bout of Hedonism and debauchery? Maybe, for the few moments of fleeting pleasure you experienced, you thought it was true bliss. Maybe, after the experience was over you felt depleted and guilty, or, maybe not at all. Either way, pleasure is causing a great deal of pain for folks interested in self-development lately, and the pain is in need of healing.
