This was written as a response paper for my philosophy class last semester. The ending is incredibly rushed as it was supposed to be a page or so total in length. I decided to cut myself short at four.

This morning an unsettling national story broke. I haven't really processed it yet, but still wanted to notify the Evolver community. More than 30 governors around the country have received letters demanding that they leave office or risk being removed.
Starting at age 9, I felt a spiritual connection to the martial arts through a sense of beauty and purpose that was conveyed by some of my on-screen heroes. As a pre-radical American male child, my options for a sense of purpose in life included: sports jock, cop, fire-fighter, military service man, and martial artist vigilante.
In this blog, I intend to play around with ideas for developing the Evolver Social Movement into a large-scale membership organization. I hope to learn from your comments and direct engagement in this process, as we seek to launch the first phase of this project within the next month.
it bothers me, immensely, that so many people never consider anarchism as a legitimate political philosophy simply because it is surrounded by so much negative social stigma. so- this is my 2 cents. take from it what you will.
This is a fucked up world we have been living in this past five years. Some fucking secret group broke into all the water, soda, beer, juice; pretty much every beverage factory in the planet and filled everything with acid. They had different branches of their group to go in and take over. Set up stations all over the world, insert themselves into power.
The credit crunch and global warming is prompting many to suggest that democratic capitalism has failed as a system. People are looking towards alternative financial systems and governmental systems as potential solutions to these problems. I think that it is not the systems that are at fault but our tendency to frame our decisions in terms of the system. Let me explain.
