Recently I decided to share my life with a dog, (finally!) When I look at him I realise that we humans do not have a monopoly on consciousness. Animals live completely in the moment, just experiencing. Their consciousness is perfect. Rather than treating them as subservient slaves, we should be learning from the living things around us.
The seed planted, grows, flowers, withers and dies; its joy of beauty brought to the living eye, needless to its purpose or reason to decry, for it is the nature of Being, that it is most alive.

I thought this was a pretty cool article. I've spent a lot of time in nature contemplating what the world looks like through the eyes of various critters I encounter. Gives a pretty good idea at least. Interested how similar the birds reported vision correlates with some ayahuasca and dmt visions.
I'd like to say I believe all life is very precious, I was very sad when the BP oil leak happened in the gulf of mexico. I knew that the ecosystem would be destroyed. I thought that the people who were responsible should have action taken against them. When companies act in a way that destroys life on the planet I think it is heart breaking.
In September 2009 I submitted a topic here in the group Cottonwood Research Foundation entitled "Endogenous DMT Release in Near-NDEs?". In it, I described our elderly cat Chloe, who last year seemed to be experiencing possible “mini-trips” that I suspected may have been occurring during near-NDEs.
I saw a picture of this zombie ant with a little tiny mushroom hat. Only it wasn't really a hat. It was a mushroom growing out of the brain of this poor unsuspecting ant whose very existance was being remote controlled by a fungus attached to its brain. This picture disturbed me for a number of reasons. It was an exquistely lit and incredibly sharp photomicrograph with bright colors.
Nearly every day, I like to walk around my backyard, slowly, taking one careful step after another, highly aware of where my foot will land and the degree of vibrations, knowing that the slightest molecule out of place will alert any insect basking on a leaf to my presence, and they will flit away.

So, today i'm tinkering around with an old cycle and here comes Willie down his normal path but I notice he's a bit early today. Willie has his own timeclock ya see.
