In the beginning God created heaven and earth. According to religious enthusiasts, this was only 6000 years ago. ‘He’, basing this on the artists impression of the man with the bushy white beard, made everything in only 7 days. After 6 days of saying ‘let there be light, let there be dark, let there be trees, let there be bananas’ etc, he had a sit down and had a bit of a rest.

Today is 21st December 2012.

Today I got up, ate two rounds of toast with strawberry jam, drank one cup of coffee with a splash of milk and then brushed my teeth as usual.

Today I went for a walk along the beach. There were a few clouds, but the sun edged out from behind them promising another warm sunny day.

These days I think since we can all see our world is destructive as hell, we need to prepare ourselves. Not just mentally, but physically and spiritually. The rebellions, the disasters, this is only the beginning. If we know whats happening, now is our chance to prepare. Get your own lives together. Get together with your people with your same mindsets.

I applied to 28 places in the past month. Of those 28 places, which included everything from bussing jobs to corporate jobs at newspapers, 21 said no or aren't hiring. Besides a few art shows that I helped organize and was in, I had one interview, where I was told I am overqualified to be a server. Funny, because I've never served.

Yeah, I know, as we get older the time seems to be going by more rapidly than in the past. But, really, what the hell is going on now as Novelty increases and we hurl headlong into the Singularity.
