The Sacred on this world stems from the Power, the Medicine, of Nature. Nature's Power flows from Life. Life is the Sacred Dance that the flame, the spark of Consciousness, flickers for.
The way life on Earth is being lived has been a puzzle for thinkers since very ancient times. All of us that have put energy into to it have realised that day-to-day reality has more to it then what is being “told”. It's far more complex then black and white.
Today my message is about the structure of society.
This little film shows Tuesday's simulcast between the London and New York OCCUPY communities. I flew out to the encampment at St. Paul's Cathedral, and we sang the 99% song together, across the Atlantic - what a wonderful moment! That made the whole London visit worth it - when Londoners held up a sheet to show the Stop Shopping Choir from Wall Street.

I feel like if you look at what we 'really' know. It's close to nothing. I can talk all day about the Federal Reserve and modern day capitalism, without ethics. Or physics, science and spirituality. But what do I really know? Only some things do I know from firsthand experience. Most other information I know is from research, on-line, books, school etc. What I've been taught.
Whirling, swirling busy lives all around
Pointless to the reason yet to be found
Gizmos and gadgets created to astound
Weak attempts for life to be more profound
Distortions and distractions meant to confound
Leaving only debt to indebtedness to compound
To leave one feeling its worth - pound for pound
As happiness eludes any form of middle-ground
Forlorn are the forsaken whose seed to birth lay in waste amongst the many whose selfless desire is given in reciprocity with their kind, to make future a presence of humanity that barren life would otherwise, fail to realize.
Aimless, I linger, afloat in this shapeless void, a rudderless ship in the vast expanse of nothing;consuming time in exchange for knowledge’s understanding to render distinction of purpose and direction to regain ambition’s energy as reward to its expenditure or, to be forever lost.
I am writing to you who may read these words as a man-child balancing on the precipice of drastic change. I am becoming more aware of my folly by the minute and it is beginning to truly unmask my most foul flaws. This is a constructive destruction of the palace that was erected by my distorted view of me.
As more individuals suffering a terminal illness insist on taking charge of how they approach their end-to-life process, pressure is growing for societal institutions such as government, justice and medicine to enter into informed and compassionate discussions on this standing, contentious issue of allowing individuals the right to choose a dignified death.
This, the latest chapter to this life’s story is but coming to its end. There is little of substance in its uniqueness to warrant telling let alone documenting. Essentially, each new day’s experience is less than more, of that which preceded it hence, not worth noting. The troubling aspect to this condition; there seems little indication to what or even how, the next chapter will unfold.
With the coming of each dawn there is an opportunity to recognize that choices that lay before each individual. Each new day is a cross-road. Many times in my life I look to the the paths before me and am overwhelmed by the loom of such decisions. As easy as it is to be swept up by this emotion, I realize that indecision can fester into the plague of ambivalence.
