Tom Campbell on Jacques Fresco's Resource Based Economy

The following has been lifted from a recent e-mail exchange between Tom Campbell and I. I asked him what he thought of Jacques Fresco's social outline, monetarism, and the current culture in the face of the potential culture.

Physics or Howysics or Iysics ?

Maybe its time we replaced the term physics with something else, we need a term that encompasses the mind-matter singularity.

PLANET REPERATION PROJECT: Nightrains Reformation

I want to dream of a new perspective, possibility, or dream in becoming reality NOW. I want all 6 billion of us to have an understanding on just one thing. I want us to stop using only 10 % of our brains and expand our horizon to the limitless sky. This sounds like a lot, but it isn't.

Imagine:

A “network of autonomous” communities operating a collaborative system of sustainable agriculture, local craft commerce, pedestrian travel, holistic health, arts, decentralized education and inexpensive, creatively built structures.

Questions To Consider: Your Final Exam

1) Does the validity of scientific proof negate the underlying intent of philosophical inquiry?

2) In what ways is "metaphysical" a contradictory term?

3) Contra-diction; what does this REALLY mean?

4) Does science ACTUALLY "dis-allow" philosophy? What are the historical roots of the "separation" of Philosophy from other "disciplines"?

Light

Light.

How brightly does you light shine?

We are all containers for this light. We are the light, contained. The container is relevant only in how it shines and spreads light. It is the vehicle for the light and therefore must be maintained carefully.

These are dark times.
Why are they dark?
The containers have been corrupted.
A poison has been spread.

Thoughts on "Free Will"

"Free Will," like other rationalist metaphysical constructs, breaks down when pressed upon with much mental force. The most spirited analytic style (Western) philosophical defense of such a notion are almost comical in their self-delusion, if the rationalizations weren't so sad.

(In)Transience

Life, branching out and
Drooping all around itself,
Enfolds the empty spaces
Surrounding it, leaving a
Warmth: green, vibrant,
Silent; under its shadow
Huddle these fleeting feelings,
Trappings, ideas otherworldly.
