People demonstrate to draw attention to collective issues. The whole point of public display of disapproval (protests, rallies, strikes, sit ins, teach ins, Occupations) is to spotlight collective issues in hopes of having public opinion sway the making of policy.
Making a forest garden is definitely for people who like to experiment in Nature.
If you like straight rows and garden produce that everybody knows, then maybe it's not for you. Although there are plenty of books on the subject, creating this kind of garden is a continual, creative work in process.
Ares is the Olympian god of war, slaughter and bloodshed. He is the progeny of king and queen of all gods and mortals, the mighty Zeus and the jealous Hera, respectively. It appears that both abhorred him, predominantly because of the debased, inhumane and rudimentarily based characteristics and qualities of human nature he came to epitomize.

270,000 organic farmers are standing up to the massive bully and big Ag giant, Monsanto. The battle to preserve organic food on planet Earth is on. This is welcome news, considering that the Obama White House now plays for team Monsanto.
In less than a month, I will be down in Ecuador with the Amazon Mycorenewal Project. We are an international interspecies alliance working to heal the oil-polluted rainforest with the power of mushrooms. As explained in a previous post this is a one-of-a-kind ground-healing effort to apply recent advances in mushroom science (mycology) to break down and remove environmental toxins.
Noted activist and author Starhawk spoke to a sold-out NYC room in early April, organized by Evolver. A recurring theme was the importance of connecting to the natural world. Starhawk's new children's book, "The Last Wild Witch," tells of a town in which everything is perfectly organized and very orderly.
I was born into a wealthy family and I am thankful to where it has gotten me as far as perspective goes, but realize that money is like toilet paper (useful to have around when guests are visiting). Seriously though, I never felt any sense of security when I was living off of inherited wealth. I always felt like a baby who was entirely at the whims of the world.

OK everybody, I have an idea for an action plan. And it's not even MY idea but one that's already taking shape. It's called the Global Non-Compliance movement, and they do have their own FB pages. It is not an organization or "movement" like TZM or TVP or even ESM. "Non-Compliance" is just a word people use. It's just a loose network of people like ourselves, that's it!
